  1. I'm all in for this one. RZA & Russell Crowe have been working on this for ages.

RZA is a big fan of old-school kung fu flicks, new school kung fu flicks & anime. He has been working on his Hollywood connections for a while, and with Quentin production money, so i expect a live-action Ninja scroll / Iron Monkey type action  with endless Shaw Brother's Homages with a Wu-Tang soundtrack.

    Can't really go wrong.

Plus Lucy Lu doing her Kill Bill character again...

  2. I am not looking forward to the Max vs Miriya stage.

If it's the same as the PSP version then you have to beat the other meltrans, fight Miriya outside, then fight inside the capital ship with extreme close quarters combat. If history repeats itself, there will be no tuning for Max's VF-1S so expect EX/Chronical levels of difficulty.

  3. True. TV hasn't been the same since that writer's strike a while back. The reality show plague continues...

With Thundercats & Avengers animated pretty much over, if Tron gets cancelled then Transformers Prime & Young Justice is the last US animation on TV for me.

  4. Indeed. And if they get big enough their production cost could drop & the savings could past to the customers. Being able to bypass child-toy safety laws that plague Hasbro transformers, they could continue marketing as adult collectibles and thus could truly be a powerful entity for collectors. Giving fans what they really want: High level engineered tranforming toys not plagued by lame gimmicks or retarded paint applications.

  5. Well compared to half the sexual crap on the radio & my other option of Wu-Tang CD's... Sharon Appple is still the safer bet. Regardless, Idol talk isnt on that disc anyway.

I'm more worried about my son singing dumb sh*t like "IM SEXY AND I KNOW".... WIGGLE WIGGLE WIGGLE...."

Which he inadvertently got from that stupid M&M's commercial......

  6. I'd stil be enjoying my historic & hilarious Clash of the Bionoids VHS for kicks if i had a functional VCR, but i look forward to the best, most state of the art version of DYRL the world currently has to offer, & will continue to enjoy any newer version technology eventually provides.

  7. I burned a few CD's of Macross music to have some PG rated music in the jeep. One was some instrumentals mostly from DYRL & Zero, and the other was a sampling of various Sharon Apple & Sheryl. My 5 year old enjoys them both. He hums & sings along. He wasn't amused by Sheryl's music until he saw a few scenes & realized they were "battle songs". But his favorite by far is the original Japanese theme song for SDF. He sings "Mak-U-Rosss" all day....

  8. Soundwave is as good as bought. Do you think it'll have an MP3 gimmick?

Probably not this release. But i can guaruntee this mold will be milked. We will absolutely get the Soundblaster Black & Red repaint. Then maybe some Japan exclusive with an MP3 mechanism. .Or maybe get a Soundwave with a non-transforming cassette that is a functional MP3.

  9. Yeah I like my collection open and accessible. My friends get a kick out of them, but they know enough not to take them off the shelf.

AGREED. Look all you want, count em, be amazed... but unless you've been transforming toys since 1984 & have bought atleast one $200+ high end collectible in the last decade- DO NOT TOUCH.

  10. Excellent use of those Yamato stands, i didn't even know they supported Battroid modes.

And great use of those flight pose stands. They are life savers.

I enjoy seeing collections out in the open, on the shelf cold & hard & not confined & sterile looking.
