  1. IMDB has a pretty awesome trailer for this... if only it would come out on the 360... ah well. http://www.imdb.com/video/imdb/vi2871762457
  2. Too bad about the translator and the being rushed for time issue. Otherwise sounds like it was a great interview, and she really seems like a great person in real life too. From everything I have seen or read about her, is how down to earth and friendly she is. Anyways, thanks for the update, I can't wait to see the interview in it's entirety. Next time I will come up with questions regarding her future ambitions.
  3. Episode 409: Plan of Dissent After the Republic conquers an Umbaran airbase, General Krell orders Rex and his men on towards the heavily fortified capital. Realizing there's a better plan, several clone troopers disobey orders to carry out a rogue, covert operation.
  4. Sweet, I can't wait to hear what her response is to my proposal.
  5. I wonder if it is more that if she had a boyfriend, they would bury it to keep it from being in the press. Not that they have heavy paparazzi over there anyways, but to keep her mostly male fanbase from being turned away.
  6. Oh, I know that her 'boyfriends' Faylan and Elisa is a long running joke between her, those other singers, and her fans on her blog... Though Elisa seems to take it more seriously. It's actually cute and playful, but still from an outsider's view it could be an interesting question. Like where did that originate from? Stuff like that. I wasn't aware that they couldn't have a boyfriend till 30. How can the studio stop them? Also, I think that at least recently Aya Hirano had one, and she is only in her early 20's. I know that there is a different culture out there, and the male fans (which make up like 90% of the concert goers and cd sales) want to view these girls or idols as pure and innocent, or something along those lines.
  7. Yeah, lol. Good luck getting that and any "do you have a boyfriend" style questions past her PR team. Though you could probably ask her why she refers to Faylan and Elisa as her "boyfriends". May get a fun response from that.
  8. Palpatine knew it was a suicide mission. He didn't want his future apprentice hurt or killed. At least that is my guess. I am loving the Umbaraians, and their technology. So happy to see that the Seperatists aren't just droids. Especially since these guys are putting up a real resistance.
  9. I am on the fence about Krell. I don't want to see him die... yet. I definitely don't want to see him as a double agent or anything like that. We have already seen that enough, and that is way too predictable. You could see it in some of the clones' eyes... they were thinking how badly they wanted to Order 66 his ass. Even some of the conversations they had amongst themselves almost tended to lead that way. Anakin vs. Krell would be cool, but would take away in my opinion Anakin's turn on Mace Windu. However when Anakin returns, if he arrives just as Krell has his lightsaber out and pointed at one of the clones again, especially if it is Rex, I can see there being some big trouble there. Anyways, absolutely loved the episode, and just trying to guess the outcome of this story arc is pretty exciting. Better than what the Clone Wars has given us in a while, that is for sure.
  10. I loved last week's episode. Easily the best of the season for so many reasons! Oh please let's have a Krell vs. Grievous fight! Lightsabers galour... (Though I have a feeling Krell doesn't survive this story arc. Maybe Grievous will show up in the final episode to make that happen.) Episode 408: The General General Krell orders Captain Rex and the clone troopers of the 501st Legion to conquer a heavily fortified Umbaran airbase, and will not accept anything less than victory. It is an almost certain suicide mission, unless the clones can use their ingenuity to defeat their new enemy.
  11. ^ I can answer your number 1 question Negotiator: Namie Amuro If you listen to some of May'n's old pre-Sheryl Nome music, it has a hip hop style somewhat in line with what Namie does. Though in my personal opinion, May'n has surpassed Namie Amuro (and every American singer May'n likes) in everyway, but she still looks up to her, and is inspired by her. Question 1: Will you marry me? - I'm serious, I've even named my XBox gamer tag after her. Question 2: Over the last year you have become more and more of an international star. Doing tours throughout Asia, and even a couple of stops in Europe. Any chance you will be returning to US for another concert? More specifically the Dallas, Texas area? Question 3: I know that they are considered another studio's property, but do you think that down the road you will be able to sing any of your old pre-May'n, 'Nakabayashi May' songs live again? I particularly like 'Blooming Flowers in the Rain' (雨に咲く花), 'Can't get enough', and 'Not that Girl'. I am especially interested in hearing them as your incredible vocal ability has become even better over the last few years, and those songs would sound amazing live. Question 4: Speaking of your vocals, you have the most impressive voice I have ever heard. However lately you have stuck with your higher pitched singing voice for most of your newer work even after Macross Frontier. I was wondering if you will implement your deeper singing voice a little more often. I watched "May'n the Movie" and while you sang 'Eien' (amazing song by the way, especially live) and Shinjitemiru, I was reminded by how much I enjoy your deeper voice. Question 5: Will you marry me?
  12. Episode 407: Darkness On Umbara When Anakin is forced to temporarily turn over command of his clone troopers to a new commander, the Jedi Pong Krell, tensions begin to run high as the clones are assigned with a very deadly mission to take the capital of Umbara. I think this story arc can turn Season 4 around.
  13. I have to say this was my favorite episode of the season. Not that that says much so far. I loved the opening and closing battles, and the C-3PO and R2 stuff in the middle was entertaining. C-3PO reuniting with Commander Wolfe at the end was great too! Probably would have been even better had they stashed this episode in between several hardcore action episodes, but still fun. Looks like they are taking the next week off, and when they return it will be with more action... hopefully.
  14. Looks like the first two episodes are no longer available, but you can check out the last three here: http://www.starwars.com/watch/the-clone-wars/ Next Episode: Episode 406: Nomad Droids C-3PO and R2-D2's bizarre caper continues. Forced to escape a Separatist attack in a Y-wing fighter, the droids visit the world of the Patitites, the odd planet Balnab, and the inside of a pirate warship where they are forced to fight in a gladiatorial arena. .................... Also, not sure if anyone saw this yet: http://insidetv.ew.com/2011/10/12/star-wars-clone-wars-darth-maul/
  15. Episode 405: Mercy Mission After groundquakes have devastated the planet Aleen, a Republic relief effort arrives, including the droids R2-D2 and C-3PO. When the native Aleena's pleas go unheard, it becomes the duty of the droids to embark on a surreal journey through Aleen's subterranean world to save the planet. ....... Yikes, this could turn out awful, hopefully I am wrong and this is the episode that turns around season 4 for the better. At least we know that no matter what, the visuals will be pretty.
  16. Episode 403: Prisoners The Republic and Gungan forces have been captured by Riff Tamson and his Karkarodon enforcers. Now, it is up to Ahsoka and the young Prince Lee-Char to unite the fractured people of Mon Cala and drive out the Separatist invaders.
  17. Since you put it that way.... it does kind of ruin the moment. Oh well, Luke will never know the difference, but it will definitely make Leia stop and think about it once in a while. "Wait, was that really my mom?" Next time I watch Jedi, I am going to think about this converation now. Thinking poor Luke, isn't even being told about his actual mother... poor Leia, doesn't know her either.
  18. I agree with Keith on this one. She is talking about Mrs. Organa. They even made her dark haired like Leia mentioned in ROTJ. As for being sad, I think it is the Republic and the freedoms her husband fought for were gone. Surely that effected her greatly.
  19. I was thinking the same thing. Kind of generic, run of the mill style episodes. However the visuals were amazing and I did like that it wasn't just droids on the seperatist side. As for 'Sharkboy', I'm with you on that one. He didn't seem all that, I was wondering when one of the Jedi was just going to dispose of him quickly and move on.
  20. Tonight the new season starts! Episode 401: Water War When the king of Mon Cala is assassinated, talks break down between the Mon Calamari people and the Quarren, co-inhabitants of the aquatic world. To stop a civil war, the Republic sends Padmé Amidala and Anakin Skywalker, but unbeknownst to them, the Quarren are already being backed by the Separatists. Now the Jedi must protect Mon Cala's new leader, the young Prince Lee-Char, from the attack. and Episode 402: Gungan Attack Anakin Skywalker and the rest of his Jedi team have been overrun by the Separatist surprise attacks led by Riff Tamson while Prince Lee-Char and Ahsoka must evade capture on their own. Unable to summon more Republic aid, Yoda calls upon the help of the powerful and amphibious Gungan Grand Army, but whether they will be enough to stop the Separatist siege is uncertain. An incensed Tamson doubles his efforts in tracking down Prince Lee-Char, unleashing the reinforcements given to him by Count Dooku in an assault that churns the oceans.
  21. It was in season 3, just before the second half. I think it was the episode where Padme and Ahsoka go to a seperatist world, where Padme meets up with an old friend there to try and convince them of working up a peace deal. Probably in the area of episodes 8-10... I think.
  22. Yeah loved it. It was awesome. I want to talk about it, but for those holding out, it could/does contain some spoilers.
  23. New Full trailer: http://www.starwars.com/video/view/0000/0025 The first minute or so is basically what we have seen in previous trailers, still looks cool, but the second half of this trailer...
  24. That was awesome. The pictures of her are fantastic, and loved the reviews, thanks for sharing! I actually have May'n the Movie on preorder, I should get it by late Sept. early October.
  25. I would like to add that Palpatine has been planting the seeds for the last 13 years, especially in the last 3 years, all the while being one of Anakin's closest friends. I mean Anakin did tell Palpatine about the massacring of the Tusken Raiders, and not one member of the Jedi Order, including Obi Wan. (hopefully the clone wars will show more and more of Anakin's relationship and trust in Palpatine) Many of the seeds planted were how the Jedi didn't trust Anakin, how they were holding him back, or trying to contain his power, fearing his potential. (not making him a Master, not allowing him to take out General Grievous) Then it was how the Jedi are really all about gaining power for themselves and taking control. How they were planning on betraying the office of the Chancellor and the Republic itself to take full control. These ideals were compounded when Obi Wan and the Jedi Council (off the record) asked Anakin to spy on his friend Palpatine. Then you add in Palpatine offering his help and power to save Padme, the one person Anakin loved more than anyone or anything. Anakin became further confused on who to trust, but went to turn him in to the Jedi Council... Now you go to the moments before Mace and crew roll up into Palpatine's office... Anakin is sitting there and knows deep down that the Jedi may kill Palpatine and end all hope he has of saving Padme... so he rushes off to ensure that he isn't killed, just arrested. Palpatine of course staged his "defeat" at the hands of Mace Windu, fully calculating when his new apprentice would show up to save him from the assassination attempt from Mace. He had to look like a weak old man, just trying to defend himself from this ruthless attacker. Anakin arrives, and Palpatine states: "I was right the Jedi are trying to take over" Force lightning is exchanged and Mace, facing an unarmed opponent, says he is "finishing this once and for all". When Anankin protests saying it isn't the Jedi way, Mace doesn't care and proceeds... all that Anakin had been taught about the Jedi from the Jedi became lies in his head. All that his friend and confidant Palpatine had said about them was true... in his head. Palpatine had force Mace's hand, he had to make him an assassin there, succeeded, and Anakin stepped in. It was all down hill for Anakin from that point on. After Mace's death Palpatine stated that once the Jedi discover what has happened they will kill us along with all of the senators. (Padme is a senator) Anakin agrees that will be the Jedi's next move... Time for a darkside fueled Jedi massacre.
