how long ago was this? do you remember like perhaps the hair color of the girls, what kind of gun is she using? or it's surrounding,,.. current / future/ way in the future. Or perhaps you watching too much anime and mix a couple of animes together.. because it really does sound like from KITE.. Too many anime girls have jump off a build with a gun.

with all the repainting job on this valk you would think they would atleast repaint the intake convers to gray.

Why "V"? cause it sounds better then We and wouldn't get confused with WEED and in a way it's nintendo's 5th home enterntainment system.,, NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, REV/Wii

hmm from the drawing , it's transformation looks pretty straight foward.
The hands are fold like the Zeta Gundam, and the legs are standard push ups or downs. The nose of the jet flips down,, and the 2 intakes ( only the square area) flips down as the chest and to fill in the gap from the fold out hands. Oh,the weapon slides back to the arms.
hmm it seems it can do gerwalk too.
I just can't wait for this baby to come out,, I just know they're going to put lots of little details here and there.

Yes its a real official Alternator. Hence it being called 'TF Alternators' in the listing.
being called "TF Alternators" in the listing of WalMart is one of the main reasons why I'm asking. since listing can be mislabel,, walmart screws up listing all the time. Os their any other proft that this is the real deal? like offical websites?, other pics from more reliable source?

no, of course not. If I judge only by the 1 prespective then everything could look similar. I look at the overall pic or nothing at all, because a VF-1 is a whole VF-1 and not just a flat onesided shape of a VF-1. And even at the side only I still don't really see it. I guess if I focus really hard some of the parts will look like from F-18, but If I focus really hard, I can probably find it similar to other Fighters too..
You are not wrong in anyway,, but I just happen to sees things differently.
The only fighter that I consider to look closest to a F-18 is the SV-51 even though it was base on something else.

I'm sorry, but base on the Overall Outside shape of the VF-1 it looks nothing like the F-18.

Yeah, I wonder what's in this combo,, will it be the Orange GM or a Rx-79G gundam. I'm betting on the normal Orange GM this time since if its was a Gundam it would most likely would have been label that instead of GM sniper. I hope they comes with HoverTanK and both huge backpacks of thiers.

actually,, the more I see the LV2 the more I want it. It's not really the love and want feelinging like other valks, but the feeling that it will look good on a display shelf full of other Valks.. it will stand out and give it somewhat of a change enviorement. Kinda like having a green plant on your desk.
The stealth on the other hand looks just plain to me,, and the design looks half and half without a final decison which makes it even worse. I'm trying really hard to like it but I just can't do it.

don't complaint,, how else would you have gotten a yf-19 at a $50 buy it now price if Logic was placed in the first place.
also,, he's probably upping the price because the first 2 macross items sold like hotcakes.. something like sold within the first hour.

So the New VF-0s will have the Yellow/black and gray color box.. from the first pic..
Is it just me of does the LV2's head laser looks longer.. I guess it could be the color.

Well, the new Platinum Collection is the better choice. It's offers better image and sound. Better box set up with thin DVD casing and have a couple of UN-CUT eps that were lefted out in the previous replease. For this box set they made it into 6 DVD instead of the original 8 but all the eps and extra eps are still there. If you are planing to get a set this will be it.
Also it's cheaper to get it from Amazon.com since it's always on sale for a low price of $45.96 with free shipping.

I can't really think of a good reason to get the older set right now, perhaps collector value? oh and the Spanish 2.0, French 2.0 Dubing of course, not that I understand any of them.

Eh, the VF-0D ain't no trainer though. Its a strike fighter, much like how the F-15E Strike Eagle is not a training variant of the F-15C, rather, a precision strike fighter/multiroler with avionics and weapons systems that necesitate a 2nd crew member to operate due to the high workload imposed.
IIRC, it was used as the plane to train Shin, then he got his very own VF-0A. Maybe I'm not recalling correctly though.
He didn't get the VF-0A until he totaled his VF-0D. I'm pretty sure orignally the VF-0D was Shins assigned plane.. but since it's was shot down.. guess they have to assign him another one
.The VF-0D doesn't have bright Orange coloring so it's no trainer
