  1. So the oxidation process cannot be stopped. Thanks for the input
  2. Thanks for the reply.
  3. It's always in the box. I just took it out for a pictorial with another VF. Anyways. Thanks.
  4. My Yamato VF-11c is turning yellow on some parts. Can this be fixed?
  5. Hello. I have a 1/60 VF-11C. Some parts are becoming yellowish! Can this be fixed? HELP!!!
  6. Wow. Now I'm happy I skipped over the 1st DX releases.
  7. Japan Pride? All Made In China.
  8. As I stated. Although It's just a toy, I personally don't want to be troubled about loosing parts. Toys are supposed to bring fun and not frustration. That's just me saying. Anyways. HLJ so slow! Always getting a note from them that they're still buried due to the Golden Week vacation. Waiting sucks.
  9. As I said. Inkate covers can be left on. Those butt caps I can loose. I think this toy is looks nice. I have it on preorder. @Raptor One: The thing is, I see myself using them. I like to bring my toy wherever I want. This just makes me more cautious about it. I'm just telling. I don't like to worry. @ Jasonc: Alright. Keep your cool man. It's just a toy.
  10. I hate the white one because I broke it. I got the older one. I like that one. I also got the Gnu-Do
  11. Excuse me but I didn't know yamato announced that. I was expecting a "perfect transformation". I'm not bothered at all with the vents on the old ones because I keep them on. Those butt bits I could loose. I'm not the type of person who just display toys, I play with them a lot. And I also throw away boxes. But as I said. I still want the toy.
  12. I was concerned about where the 2 extra bits go. So happens that it's for the butt. Just like the Hi-Metal. Oh well.
  13. so much for perfect transform. But I still want it.
  14. Don't get me wrong. I like the toy. I already have it on pre-order as well. I'm just concerned what the 2 extra bits are for. I'm fine with the morphed shield.
  15. I find this image a bit concerning. :-/
  16. @ jenius: Please do show me a picture on how you did it. I'd really appreciate it because I can't do it on my figure. Thanks in advance. Anyways, my expectations of a walking pose in any bi-pedal humanoid figure is with one leg swung forward doing a natural looking walking pose. If it can't do that then in my mind and opinion, it just cant.
  17. @ logos: A 1/60 would be humongous. @ jediwalker: Nice Shooting. @ Yeah. It's quite a disappointment that it isn't scaled with anything else. It only looks to scale with the RDs. But it still a nice clunky toy. Love playing with mine still. I still hate the fact the destroid mode can't be posed walking.
  18. Nice shots ff95gj. The fighter mode looks scaled with the VB-6
  19. @Bridge Bunny: Looks nice with a 1/100. Hope a VFX-2 color scheme (like Yamato's) would be released as well. I'm quite disappointed with the lack of pelvis to leg articulation though. Do the legs on Yamatos version swing outward? Just sharing the original designs for reference.
  20. Bandai really has improved their methods of getting sales. Pre-orders, exclusives, product-to-show tie-ins, marketing, production methods that cut cost, multiple product retooling and recolor, ect.
  21. @ eriku: My sentiments exactly. Guess we cant have it all. Although having the destroid posed as if it were walking could have made this "toy of the year" for me. @ Arthurius: The display stand configuration for the shuttle mode works well. About the eyes. I plan to have the eyes painted on. Some of my friends painted the eyes on their copy. They used stencil method of masking. Results were splendid. I'll probably get them to do it for me. I'm too chicken It's kinda low but is quite stable. Anyways. Here are some comparative pictures.
  22. Arthurius. The stand comes with the toy. It can be configured for use on the three modes. I remember having posted here how I broke a locking tab on my vf-11c. There are similar tabs on the Konig but since the plastic is tougher, they could probably last longer than the ones on the vf-11c. Big disappointment I have with this toy is the limited leg articulation. I don't think the legs can swing forward in destroid form. Or can it. I really don't know. Looking at the pelvis mechanism, nothing seems to hint that the movement is possible. Hope I am proven wrong on this one. At first, I was honestly not fond of the hollow-sounding-when-tapped hard semi-shinny plastic on the toy. I'm like used to yamato's plastics that have that delicate and expensive feel to it. Now I understand why bandai went with what we get. It's tougher. You wouldn't be afraid to play with it while excerpting average care. I'm happy with it.
  23. Here's an unofficial mode I just did. Well, I think it's unofficial. I like it. Imagining that its zooming around.
  24. Well. I've played with heavier toys. Yeah. The Konig is quite heavy. Anyways. I was in a hotel room then. I kept it in the bag because I didn't want all those exposed screws of the toy to get wet and dirty. Here's the toy transformed. So many missed opportunities in my opinion. Like better finger articulation, no screw hole caps, no clear plastic for the visor and wind shield (painted only) and engineering that would permit the legs to pivot outward. Anyways. Its still a lovely toy standing at 37 cm.
  25. yup. Klan Klan bra FTW hahaha. It ain't mine. lol
