Give it time good sir. If Bandai is making the VF-2SS then a VF-1D is a sure thing!

Patience is all we got going:lol: But allowing the VF2ss first dibs over the very  first VF in animation history (kind of like Bumble bee and WJ being the very first TF in animation not getting a toy/figure) is kind of like a slap.:(

Yup I really like this line too.   That vt1 looks so good.

I don't like mixing macross with transformers.   I collect transformers too but I bought the leader class jet fire because it looked like the anime and has a different transformation from the valkyrie.   I don't like that Hasbro or who owned transformers ripped off the macros valkyrie toy and made it jet fire.

Though I like looking at your customs☺

Hasbro didn't rip the Takatoku Valkyrie off. They actually bought the rights LEGALLY from Bandai.(When they needed the cash back in 1984) Together with Roadbuster and Whirl of the Dorvack line.

VT-1 Super Ostrich from DYRL, not the VF-1D.  I'm sure they'll get around to it at some point though.

That's what I meant. Wished the VF 1D would get some Bandai lovin' too:(

Hmm, has the market for kidneys gone down recently? I would have thought that a kidney would have gotten you a Premium Version at least. ^_^

HLJ's premiums are all out:wacko: unfortunately just as soon as my funds became available (as in today). So I went for the plain amiami version instead. They always deliver my PO unlike the two incidents I had with the former where confirmed preorders were never delivered and cancelled of which I wasn't able to replace them  anymore.

Hey, you're the breadwinner and man of the house! If you want to buy a little toy robot, you go right ahead! ;)

    Easier said than done mate!;)

HLJ is pissing me off.  Bought the HMR Defender and it shipped SAL back in July 15.  Still hasn't arrived and passed their 30day estimated delivery.  Contact them about it and they basically reply, "look at our fine tiny print.  Wait double our 30 business days estimate before contacting us."   Not buying from them again.

Gonna spend more money at NY instead.  Come on Tomahawk!  Dangard needs some new destroids!

I feel your pain but when you choose SAL, registered otherwise, expect the delays. parcel sometimes ship fast but sometimes its the ost office and customs that's the issue.

So it seems across the board so far that they messed that area up. You got it the worst so far. Again, seems like an insignificant area to worry about.

If it's common, them's the breaks then. It's gonna be a pain in the butt the replace it given it's a manufacturer's defect and it does not affect the functionality anyways. I might as well count my blessings it's in that "area"

Yeah, it was one of the first things I noticed since my HMRs are mostly pristine but didn't worry about it since it is unnoticeable unless you are inspecting the crotch closely. I like mechs, but not that much or in that way. :p

If it's Sheryl or Minmei's, I'll give it an even more closer inspection!

Interesting. Mine seems to have some ugly mold flashing on the side like Sabuto's but I don't think it's affecting the functionality of the peg hole. Yours is completely warped so it is unusable? Either way it seems like a common "defect" in that area.

The circle part for the peg is okay. It's the part that's, well carved off.

Thanks for the reply and the pic Saburo! In my Spartan, that part is like chipped/carved off. Mega bummer!  I wonder if I need to have it replaced or what? :(

I need a favor. Could you please  post a shot of his bottom point? the part underneath his crotch? My version seems to have a QC issue where it is deformed on the right side of the peg hole.

A screw fell out of my Spartan the day after handling it.  I have no idea where the screw came from on it.

Only screwed point I can see are those behind his thighs and his inner ankle/heel.

    Nice pic Saburo

Just picked up my Spartan too. To the experts out there, what are those two on his back noggin'? Antenna or phase ray projectors?"

Is the Monster not worth $200-250? As in its build quality, size, etc. doesn't justify its price? From what I read before its release people were super impressed by its size...

It IS worth it if you are "into" the series. And yes, the sheer size/weight/cost to ship is the turn off factor. Quality wise, it is amazin'!

    Shipping notice from Ami Ami.

Or I should say I got a tracking number that they'll be shipping it sometime in the future.

I've been with amiami for quite sometime and love them 98% of the time but those tracking numbers they give only extends until the Dispatch from outward office of exchange in Tokyo. Heck, I already received my MP Megatron and the tracking number still doesn't indicate it's arrival:blink:

Not scaring you or nothing. Your Destroid will arrive......eventually:lol:

Personally I don't mind the lilac grey. It still looks great and I am so excited for a 1/100 Tomahawk. It is my favorite destroid and will be getting three of them.

    Must be the lighting.

Last week I sold four Hi-Metal / Hi-Metal R valks to some guy. Once he received them, he said: "These look just like the Toynami veritechs"

Now I wish I sold them to someone else....

Must be a m0r0n who can't see the difference.

True. True. That's why I'm not planning on customizing yet my extra Hikaru 1S from the first Arcadia release into his 1A. There's still a chance that Arcadia might continue this trend of reissuing some old VF-1's. ;)

The first Arcadia VF-1 releases were all bright white. However, it's not that all white since it has some would members call it, pink hue. And that tint might help prolong the white color intact for a period of time. And as for yellowing, it won't matter to me anymore. Things really don't last forever. And I'm not going to bring my toys in my grave. And some members here already mentioned that some Valks they kept it in the box for long period of time away from the sun and dust still turned a little bit of yellow. That's why you have to let your Valkyrie soar. Play with them. ;)

    Go go go Graham! ;)

Yeah. I agree with everyone here when it comes with the premium (tampo) one should be the new standard one. But the mere fact that some of my Yamato Valks is bare, I'm still going to stick on just the regular release (and future reissues) and just apply decals on all of them down the line.

Nope. I'm not the MISB type guy. I play with my fig within the limits of the fig's tolerance. It's just that, well I hate time and it ravaging effects. I wish there might some scientific recipe to keep white, well white and not yellow.

If I lived in a place with a better climate (not to mention more storage space) I'd probably jump on the bright white editions, but being in the middle of the desert just makes it extra likely I'll be dealing with yellowed plastic over time.

I still think it would be hard to convince myself to double dip on these though, since I've got a pseudo-complete DYRL set in Yamato off-white already.  I think if they issued them all with fully tampo printed packs I might cave, since I've never liked using stickers on anything.

I'm the play the item type so no worries.  But it does suck that despite your efforts, the d@mn colors start fail on you. My gray Hikaru is around 5 years + with no issue but the anime fists of the reaction armor I us on it has already gone yellowing.

So the the new white has a tinge of pink huh? I hope that is part of a new recipe to retain the white.
