And sculpted by Chieri! The last Macross fig he sculpted was Sheryl in that S/M costume. Same Chieri who did "Native" Tony Taka banana girl and Chie (R 18+)among the many many Maxfactory and Goodsmile pvc figs. So despite the size, you won't be disappointed.

I'm watching the Robotech series again and get all giddy every time I see one of those mechs represented by the Hi-Metal Range. Don't think I ever had access to the original Macross, is there much difference (maybe I should watch this online instead - I just chuck DVD's on in the background when at home)? I have the first three Legacy collections (I think there were like seven).

Having watched Frontier last year (and before that it was ages since seeing Robotech so couldn't remember much), didn't realise the parallels were so similar. Yet that still felt like it's own thing. you know I try tell people about what NOT to do with their valks. To be honest though, when I got the Hi-Metal 1J back in the day, it was on clearance bin and I didn't think anything will become of the line. Who knew it would make a full come back! The yellowing comes from it standing in my office at work which receives indirect sunlight.

Regardless kimosabe. White pvcs are THE bane of us collectors. I had a Bandai takatoku mold (the one with a single antenna and a cyclop visor) stored in a box away from sunlight and still yellowed.

Odd, I tried to get two Figuarts Force Awakens First Order Troopers from HLJ, had one in my private warehouse paid for, and then I tried to order another, it went through, but instead of receiving a payment request notice HLJ emailed and said the limit was one and requested I cancel the second order or I could have my account suspended. I don't know, I cancelled my second figure like they requested, if it says limit 1 I always assumed they meant it, personally, I wouldn't risk it. I've emailed them before when I got my Tamashii Yellow Aura Effects for my DBZ Figuarts, I once again bought and paid for one in my private warehouse, remembering what happened with my First Order Troopers, I emailed them and asked if I could buy a second, or ship the one I have with my other stuff then order another in a separate order, and to both they said no, if the limit says 1, they mean 1, but they also said if you notice the limit gets changed to three or something you could order more without issue. I don't know, if Kaneda's certain then great, but I personally wouldn't run the risk, you could be the one customer they catch and decide to punish. I can't recall anyone complaining about being suspended on here before, it was always a hanging threat with HLJ, so it may just be them blowing smoke, who knows, it's kind of a grey area.

Thanks for that. I could of swore I read somewhere (maybe on this forum) that if you bought 2 or 3 Regults, you'd be able to get the variant add-ons (just the attachments) for free or something? And of course, you'd have to show proof of purchase or something. Not sure if there was a small charge or if it was free.

As per the ANN article, Bandai teased a mammoth 1/35 scale DX Chogokin VF-1J that stands 14 inches (35cm) high in Battroid mode with working lights.

What are you guys hoping for with this? I'm hoping it features articulated pilot figures. 1/35 is about the scale of Transformers Masterpiece toys like MP10 Optimus, so theoretically the pilot figures would be around the same size as the MP Spike & Daniel figures.

Fenrir72: From experience, it's strange when all others sell out in minutes. I may be paranoid because I've been burned before by HLJ with the VF-25S re-issue. But AmiAmi is also the shop that usually sells out fastest.

hlj? That is nooooooooooooooo surprise. I've been "burned" with their company like I've stop counting after 3 occassions. They are but a shadow of their former selves and mind you, this is from an original customer of theirs who got their first taste of Japan online orders as Amiami back then never accepted direct overseas Credit Card Purchases.

Only time Amiami cancelled my order was for a restock TF GO Kenzan. Never happened since. So the extra stocks means Amiami got a bigger slice of the pie.

Man, almost forgot about this one. I would have saved a lot by ordering from NY, but I was too slow. Got it at Amiami. Not my preferred web shop, but at least I got it. I'm always worried when shops are able to have a Bandai product up so long, though... :/

Technically, they are only requesting a registered/parcel shipping for items with that particular price range. It's up to you to take their price or look for somewhere else. I would have preferred unregistered but of course, I risk it's being lost or damaged.

For its price point, that's kind of expected. What sucks is the parts forming. Wished it was at least a solid modular transformation.
