I stand corrected as JET7 also mentions some gluing is required in this thread. I do not recall gluing any of the parts on my Hasegawa VF-0 battroid. I had the Bandai VF-19 but I sold it as it was too clunky for my liking.
-
But the Hasegawa 1/72 Battroid kits ARE 100% snap fit and poseable, just like the Bandai Gundam kits. Even the joints use polycaps / rubber parts. However, they only include waterslide decals and no stickers. Check out the kits and the instructions from Hobby Search

I believe it is because of the aircraft livery; the original Eastern Airlines went bust back in the early 90's. Cool to see they named the aircraft after Eastern's first CEO & World War 1 ace, Eddie Rickenbacker

Have any of the U.S. members recently experienced difficulties or slow shipping times when sending packages to Hong Kong? At the beginning of the year I had a package take 2 months to be delivered. Now, a package I shipped on 9/9/14 still has not arrived and the buyer is getting antsy. Can any of the Hong Kong members chime in? Are you guys finding yourself waiting unusually long periods to received packages from the U.S.? I shipped using USPS First Class Packages so tracking only goes up to the Chicago sorting office, after that it goes to the destination Country but no further tracking is available.

He means get stung by Customs & Excise. I've used Hobby Search a few times, though only when they're the only one with certain items in stock, their shipping is reasonable and is close to what HLJ & AmiAmi charges.

He's a very talented artist, his sculpting skills are mind blowing. IIRC he started out customizing Star Wars figures on the Rebelscum forums

HLJ has the Arcadia 30th Anniversary VF-1J on sale for a little less than $75 if anyone is interested
-
I've had that happen a few times. I'd politely message the seller and inform them that they're using my photos and ask them to refrain from doing so.
I have also had a few other eBay sellers use my auction photos but eBay has a new clause that ANY photo you use in your auctions may be selected for use into their library for use by others

I never realized that most airlines leased the majority of their aircraft. I assume older aircraft such as the ones in FedEx's fleet are owned by the company?
Eurofighter crashes as Moron de la Frontera AFB. Condolences to the pilot's family.

If the info is correct, 1486 Boeing 747's (of all types) were made.
LOW_ALT, are you able to mention who the customer is? I assume it must be a freight / lease company to have so many and I believe the 747 is being phased out of passenger service in favor for more twin engined wide bodies.

Thanks for the explanation on the water tanks. I had read that the B-52's used to use water injections during MITO exercises but failed to carry that logic over.

I am putting my 1/72 ground support vehicle set up for sale. Like the VC-33, these were also made by Tundrayeti. My 1/72 diorama plans are going no where and the new 1/350 stuff is more appealing as they are smaller and cheaper.
You will receive a Boom Truck, Forklift Truck, Water / Fuel Trailer, Mobile Power Unit Vehicle, M299 Jeep, Self Powered Fuel / Water Truck, Gun Pod Carrier / Trailer and Tow Tractor
Drawings / Photos of the actual vehicles can be found in the following threads: here and here
Selling for $90 plus shipping to your location. Payment is by Paypal only.

I need to free up both space and money for new kits that are coming out by Mechtech / Tundrayeti so I'm offering up my 1/72 VC-33 (also by Tundrayeti) for sale.
I am selling this for the price I paid - $131 plus cost of shipping to your location. No trades, reasonable offers will be considered.
Edited to attach photo

Did anyone get a set of instructions with their kit? I went to look at my kit again and I noticed I did not get a set of instructions, everything looks complete though.
-
Thanks for the info on the decals. Was there any mention of a price?
-
Wow, that is some very impressive work. The amount of detail and features are mind blowing. Looks like I will need to get into 1/350 models now
What is the size of the completed model? On the plus side, it allows for army building at affordable prices.

Snap, I got all excited thinking this post was a discovery of a good store in the DC area.
Anime Club lists a few stores that sell anime / manga related material in the DC area, supposedly Anime Pavilion is good but it is outside of DC and I am not sure if any of the listed stores carry Macross items. I knew of a few stores outside of DC they've all closed down over the years due to being over priced and / or lack of interest from the general public.
Good luck!

I actually like the RVF-25 more so than the other VF-25 variants; I even sold my Bandai kit in anticipation of Hasegawa's release. I ended up pre-ordering 1, hopefully the Ghosts will either be included or available as an additional kit like the weapons set or stands
-
The kit is available for pre-order at HLJ Not sure if the text in the photo mentions anything about the Ghosts but the price of the kit is the same as the VF-25F/S & G kits so I assume they are not included

They are currently backordered at AmiAmi and HLJ but their prices are a little cheaper. SAL shipping from both stores are pretty good too.
