BUMP
I edited the first post to include the additional models I have unpacked so far, such as a couple of rare resin kits: Moscato Models Cats Eye and Hobby World Depot VF-4

...If the cargo bays opened up, a six foot tall person could sleep (or ride) inside this beast! ...
Imagine having a casket in the shape of the shuttle and being shot off into space for a burial!
Yes, smaller is better
I've always had a preference for small scale models as it meant being cheaper and easier to build armies or fleets.

Knowing Hasegawa, they may eventually release an SDF-1 with DYRL & TV parts as Limited Edition boxing

The way his messages comes across makes it appear as if he never read / saw any of your messages. At least you were nice enough to leave him neutral feedback rather than a negative.
He has not relisted the item yet so it may not be a money issue, he may have sold it to the next highest bidder through a second chance offer.

None of the Cosmo Fleet Special ships feature any special features other than rotating turrets or extra mini ships so I do not expect this to transform. However, those should and arm joints do look very movable. Maybe they can move up or down and swing outwards?

The end price for that 1/24 VF-1S was not bad, especially for its size. Heck, a VF-4 sells for more than that nowadays

Added the Minmay Special VF-1A.
I am in the middle of a move right now, I am taking photos of kits as I come across them. The majority of my kits are packed away and I will get photos of them after I move.

Mattel released a Vac-U-Form machine and I actually acquired one a couple of years ago. Its a neat machine and has certainly held up well over the last few decades. There are even companies out there who make replacement parts for it. I used it as a starting step and moved onto custom made vacuum-form tables for larger pieces.

UH-1Ns were retired from USMC service only a year ago but are still in service with the USAF, granted there are not many of them in service so I guess I am lucky to see them every day.

Yep, sellers from Asia seems to be the only ones that really include 'gifts'. I've had strange snacks or even small cloths from Japan but never tried them as they do not appeal to me. I've had a few useful items such as nice pens or key chains from North American sellers.
Now with regards to comments from the sellers it happens all of the time, especially if you are a repeat customer, and its not just limited to Asia. A lot of times sellers want to include a message in the buyer's native language expressing their appreciation and it just may not translate or spell out well. That said, if you are not sure of how to write the message do not include one. I ship an average of 30 items a month all over the world and I save my buyers and myself the embarrassment by not including any messages

It just says $37.81 on the eBay link, Jefuemon. Not $137.
The seller revised the listing, must've been a typo or someone called them out

The photos show there is Japanese writing on the upper left hand corner of the box and the instruction manual is in Japanese... best make that Asian writing as I cannot tell if its Japanese, Chinese, Korean etc.

This all goes back to Kenner's 1976 license to make Star Wars figures and toys. This license was, apparently, exclusive to Kenner for US sales. Of course, Kenner folded to Tonka in 1987 and Tonka was bought by Hasbro in 1991, who have manufactured Star Wars toys for the US market ever since. (Often using the same designs from the original Kenner license) Over time, Hasbro also picked up many of the international Star Wars merchandise licenses.
Kenner / Hasbro were not just limited to the U.S. market, they were also available in the UK / Europe. I remember contacting Hasbro UK directly in the 90's to purchase my Star Wars figures when I was young
I am becoming less and less enthusiastic about TFA toys and in part towards the movie. None of the 'western' merchandise is appealing to me and Disney's actions have soured any excitement I had.

Bastards!
Thanks. Are the TV versions of pilots available?
Only with the new Hasegawa Gerwalk kits

With Radome??? I NEED one
Just found the VF-29 and Valkyrie II OVA on that E2046 site so thats another 2 ticked off once ordered. Nothing on the VF17 series though
Good luck any purchase from E2046...... I've been tempted to order from them before but most of the products are recasts and are supposedly of low quality.

There is also the F-14 & Mig-29 from Macross Zero and VF-11D Thunder Focus from Macross the Ride

I'm a upset regarding the 5 point articulation action figures, may be I won't purchase them but I'm more interested in the vehicles (Falcon, X-Wing, Tie).
Hasbro introduced the super articulated figures in the SW AOTC toy line and it was not until ROTS where they released almost all of their figures with the super articulation. Its amazing how Hasbro has taken a great leap backwards taking away the articulation from their figures but I had always been curious how much more the articulation cost them.
I stopped collecting Star Wars figures a couple of years ago and I was hoping to pick up some figures from the movie. I find the 5 point articulation disappointing too but I will probably just pick up a few of the imperial troopers that look ok in their static poses.
Edit to add: someone on the rebelscum forums were able to purchase the figures already and posted some close up shots. Based on those photos, I think I'll pass on the figures for now and see if Hasbro ends up releasing better versions in the future.

Below is someone's observations from the SSM forums:
Among the changes listed:
- Change of leg position and addition of a main nozzle cover
- New bow, shoulder, and bridge
- Bridge is split into left and right parts, and is bigger
- Naval carriers (duh)
There are a few details in Tenjin's illustration that do appear to be vestiges of the movie-version design, like about 50% of the main gun appears to be DYRL parts, and of course the legs are almost entirely DYRL-style as well...
The nature of this release probably also means the scale is wrong. TV-version Macross is skinnier with a proportionately longer bow, but both versions of the ship are supposed to be 1210m long. They've apparently handled this by using the same parts but (apparently) adding a bit of length to the new bow, meaning this kit is larger than 1/4000; which is why the bridge parts are bigger as well...For me, I am mostly getting this kit for the Daedalus and Prometheus parts

Sebastian,
Thanks for the extra clarification, I did not know the ones with a brush are a different type. Just wanted to post the following info from this website as it provides a bit more info about the 3 different types of polystyrene cement:
1. Polystyrene CementThis is a mixture made of the plastic dissolved in acetone, chlorobenzene, or trichloroethane, and is the most commonly used of adhesives in plastic modelling and the basis for most plastic modellers. There are three main types:
Tube: most people's first introduction to polystyrene cement, this is a very thick solution and tends to be stringy. One danger with it is that it will continue to melt the plastic it is on for some time after application and if used too heavily it can distort small parts or the entire model.
Semi liquid: still a mixture of solvent and plastic, but a lot thinner. The only supplier I know of is Revell and it comes in a bottle with hollow metal 'needle' for application. It is much easier to use than tube cement and had more 'body' than the true liquid cement.
Liquid: this is really the solvent without any plastic dissolved in it. It has the great advantage that it will flow along a joint by capillary action. I discard the brush fitted to the jars from some manufacturers and use an old paintbrush to apply the liquid.

Older aircraft such as the F-4 Phantom, A-4 Skyhawk and RA-5C had a nose up attitude on takeoff. Though to be fair, the RA-5C and A-4 had a constant nose up attitude.
