Well I'm not sure where that poster came from but there are two a Super robot one the one there and a real robot one. The ones I have are in black and white though... I'm pretty sure that Heres the real robot one.

Well now lets try to figure out what exact type of giant robot shows you like Well we got Over the top Super robot shows- Shows like Voltron or Mazinger-Z with like no real plot and just some stupid bad guy that don't think straight. Then of course you have ONE ALL POWERFUL giant robot maybe with a couple other robots that do nothing and he always defeats the enemies in the end. Over the top Combining Super Robots- Such as Vlotron (Golion), Combattler V, Voltes V. Normally with 5 people normally the same stareotypes for all the shows. A respectable main character, his rival, smart kid, fat guy and the chick. Normally has the same episode types as the overthe top giant robot shows. Combining/ Super robot shows - Sorta the half way there to real robot shows. Dancougar is a great example of this. Basically you still have the giant robot and typical character but no its more gritty and you have strategy and stuff. The evil lord of all space rat ideas are pretty much gone etc. Brave robots- Sorta the super robots long lost cousins. This you probobly remember as transformers but as stated above GGG is the best example of this type at its best. Mormally defined with a bunch of AI giant robots and cool stuff like that. Real Robots- Gundam, Macross, Vifam, Dragonar, SPT Laynazer. This is the true change in giant robot shows. Now the main robot isn't some super powerful robot. But now it CAN be defeated. Also you don't have the ritual robot of the week thing. You have relatively normal bad guys and realalistic warfare. So based on previous posts I assume you sorta like the transforming real robotish shows. For that I would suggest. Vifam, Dragonar, SPT Laynazer, >>Dunbine<<, L-Gaim.

Well if Voltron (AKA Golion is in) I guess this would be too. Do you REALLY want a list of all transforming robot/combine robot shows? Cause I'm sure myslef and destroidsrage could list around 80 Check out GaoGaiGar its pretty current (1997 I believe) and Anime-in-action are doing a fantastic job with it. Basically its about these aliens called Zondars attacking (20$ if you can guess right) TOKYO (OMG) but the human's caught onto it so they made a sevret organization called GGG to deal with it. GGG basically made a ton of giant robots with AI and one super powerful one called GaoGaiGar. Now after the Zonders first launch their attack GaoGaiGar and most the other robots haven't been made or finished yet. So GaoGaiGar has to launch to fight this monster. *Insert kickass fight* GaoGaiGar then is about to destroy the things core when suddenly this kid out of nowhere turns into some green flying dude and tells him to stop. So what's going on jut watch it and enjoy. Its a REALLY good show. Sorta reminds me of transformers (made by the same people I believe) and has some of the most kickass mechs EVER. Volfogg and his 2 other ninja robots are the coolest EVER. BTW- GGG is staring in Super robot wars Alpha 2 and man is he cool.

about the slide card thing.... My friend has been using a slide card with boot discs for about 3 months now and nothing bad has happened to his PS2.......... So when is this supposed to happen? I too have recently been using a slide card (for about 2 weeks now)

Yeah we have that requirement too 40 hours of community service. As for Holloween I have to be at the school and help make it look creepy and then sit around and give the candy to the kids to scared to wlak the steets at 7 PM!!!! as for what Im dressing up as.... A lunch box NO IM SERIOUS I'm going to be a giant lunch box.

Well to make up for X7's craptacularness I guess that comilation game of MM1-8 and the two others will make up for it. As for Zero 2 MAN ITS HARD not that its bad but man its hard. I mean I died in the first level 4 times!!!

I have to agree with others claims on the slidecard. The instructions are SO stupid they try to make everything SO complicated. All you really do is 1. (Make sure the card has the hook facing right) and move it right 2. Pull out the tray put in boot disc 3.Switch discs 4. Push tray back in 5. repeat step one but when you fell the resistance move around the bump so sorta like P= Slide card hook O= Bump O ...............................................PO....... Move P around O and move all the way left left PUSH X BAM you DONE!!! I know it sounds complicated but its SO easy. EDIT- forget the diagram it turned out screwed up

Oh yes and to clarify the 2D vs 3D system its like this *Game starts off as Axl* Normal platform style jump over boxes shot stuff etc. *Enter door* More platform style stuff *fall down thing* 3D NOW Now its all insane and you will prob die. after fighting for a little and entering another door NOW YOU'RE ZERO!!??!?!? BACK TO 2D!!!!! Walk along a level VERY similar to X1 and fight enimies from said. After fighting 2 giant bees. BACK TO 3D!!!!! Now you gotta be careful cause you can fall off edges and sides you cant even SEE!!! yeah it makes no sense.

Well it has a bit of a plot and X has retired (WTF) and this caused a new reploid hunting agency called the RED agency. Now they became corrupt and this one guy called Axl tried to leave and escaped to X and crew. The red dudes then decide that if you can beat the 8 Mavericks they captured Axl would be set free, "But if you can't well... we will leave that to your imagination". Yes it still has the save billy and you get a life tank thing going on etc. Also X's voice along with EVERYOTHER male reploid (cept Axl and Sigma) have INCREDIBLE DEEP voices. While Sigma sounds like Steven Hawking ya know like robotish voice and Axl sounds like a little girl.

Ok so I go out and buy X7 and Zero2 now I heard about all theis new crap they were going to do to the X series and was a little worried but thought capcom could make it good none the less. But NO THEY DON'T. I mean I was dissapointed with X5 and 6 but they were still better then this pile of crap. pros- NONE CONS- - HORRIBLE voice acting liek if you thought MM8 had bad voice acting with elmer fud as Dr. Light you will think this is WORSE!!! AHHHHH AXL has the most annoying voice in the game!!! X and Zero just speak in monotone and Signas.... oh god.... how they could even allow this guy to voice him...... - THE CONSTANT SWITCH BETWEEN 2D and 3D. Well I heard about the 2d-3d stuff but this constant switching ruins it. - The SLOWNESS!!!!!! AHHHH what happened to all the fast dashing and slashing/shooting of the old games? I mean jesus WTF Zero can only slash SIDEWAYS at the beginning and AXL just flat out sucks. - INABLILITY TO PLAY AS X!!!!!!!!!! Yes thats right you can't play as X!!! I assume you get him later but I mean WTF! - CELL SHADING GHRAPHICS. Now when I saw those screenshots (the few shown) I was like uhh not that bad. But when you see it you will be horrified at how FUGLY they look. - SOUNDTRACK- ALL the MM/X/Z/ETC. all had kick ass soundtracks does this NO!! I don't remember ONE tune and I wa JUST playing it like 5 secs ago. DON'T buy it right away rent it first. Get MMZ2 instead.

Yeah after watching the first episode I was like uhhh this IS gundam but a few eps later it pulled itself FAR away fromthe gundam story. As for the animation man that animation easily rivaled DYRL? I mean the opening gives me goosebumps its so cool. Dragonar is truly the pinacle of 80's real robots in all aspects. EDIT- Oh i didn't motice your link to the fansub THAT IS FREAKIN AWESOME. I'm so appy someone decided to fansub this (See ya bootleg rips)

K well as I posted in the other thread The Slide card is AWESOME it plays my IMPORT copy of Super robot wars alpha 2 no problem. Pros- 1. CHEAP like $35 US for the slide card and the two discs 2. DONT HAVE TO TAKE APART THE PS2!!! 3. The waranty stays intact 4. Pretty easy once you know how it works Cons- 1. Takes awhile to learn how it works (took me like 10 minutes) 2. while doing the above you may ruin the plastic hook. for #2 what I did was incase It was ruined later I used a old credit card and cut the shape out and it works just as well. Go for the slide card it is SO easy.

Ok Well guys I have GREAT news. The slide card is freakin INSANLY EASY TO USE!!! I just got it today and it plays My copy of super robot wars Alpha 2 NO problem. All you do is take off this one small thing on the front NOT THE BACK (so the warrenty is still good) and you can easily put it back on. (Its the little PS2 logo infront of the disc holder thing. you then follow the simple directions (Maybe take a little practice to get it done fast though) but I understood in a few minutes and got it going pretty quickly. If you have NO idea how to do modchips or don't want a nervous breakdown taking apart your PS2 GET THIS NOW!!!!!!!

Anybody seen this show?? It is not really a sequel but another show in the Leijiverse. Basically its about these two brothers whose father recently died in the service of the SPF forces (sorta like Train police) and they go off and join the SPF to avenge their father. MAN is this show cool!!!!! I mean the battle was so amazing and the characters are pretty neet too. CHECK IT OUT NOW!!!!!!

I saw the first ep awhile ago and it scared me so much. Maybe it was cause I saw it around midnight but that was some wierd junk. As for the sailor cast Is sailor moon played by a man????

Get the R2 version I mean ALL Ghibli movies have sub's to try to ward off bootlegs. While i don't have R2 or boots of the movies many fo the Ghibli movies can be bought here in NA. The only ones not out are Porco Rosso- Coming out soon (Great movie) Whisper of the heart- Also coming out soon After these two I assume it'll be Nausicaa and Pom poko Then we have to wait for Only Yesterday, My Neighbours the Yamada's, ocean waves and the cat returns.
