The only snap kits I can think of for Macross are the Bandai Frontier kits, and those are definitely NOT kid friendly (barely adult friendly, in my opinion).
Most simplest Macross kit would probably be Hasegawa's Egg Plane series, but those do need glue and paint.

Wasn't there a board member a couple of years ago that buildt one from scratch? I remember seeing monthly updates on his progress and it looked sooooo badass. I wonder if he ever finished that project? Anybody know?

If you want to sell your VF-1S 1/48 hasegawa valkyrie I pay immediately
No thanks! However, in all seriousness, I would part with the Lucifer if I got a serious offer.

Not only does this make me jealous at how nice and ready everything is to build, but the paper you have it on makes me wanna back to Japan again..this time one way.
In the mood for some Pizza 10.4? I myself am now partial to a local place called Lucci. Awesome pizza and pasta.

Well i would buy one of those, but sadly I don't read a word of Japanese
If you're interested in bidding, drop Celga a line. I used them before I moved to Japan several times, with a pretty good success rate (got outbid once in the final minute on a Club M YF-19 kit).

I did some looking around on the web, and I came across a picture that just shows how big that model is... I'm surprised that somebody had the insane thought to MAKE a 1:200 Yamato for consumers.

Wasn't some of this included in the movie "Otaku no Video"? Some of it looks familiar, but I've never seen this particular clip before.

1 week from mailing in my money (yes, sending cash in the mail!!) to getting my gunpod parts and decal sheet. Thank you Hasegawa!

I am wondering if anyone have updated opinion of TISINC99 (since TISINC, is still blacklisted)... I wanted to order the Gunsniper from their Amazon store.
Why not try Hobby Link Japan ? Looks like you could get it through them for about 1/2 price as the Amazon one, even with international shipping. Amazon product description is almost a word for word copy of the HLJ one, too.

Well, I went ahead and bought it.
Pretty good shape for an old kit. Even still has the glue!
Let you know in a few years how it turns out. Need to get through these first
Also found a must-have kit that I never knew existed
I was so excited back when Bandai released the Patlabor MG series, then so dissapointed that they never did a Helldiver.

Here's one on Yahoo Japan auctions for 30,000 yen.

Started work on Tamiya's 1:350 IJN Yamato. It's the older kit, but still good. One note... It's big. Really, really big.
I know! I've got the 1/350 Musashi waiting to go after I finish my current build. My first regular ship kit; should be fun.

The scheme looks great, are you planning a diorama for it?
If I had the room, I might. My display space is already at a premium.
And Mechtech, thanks for the pointer. I'll try that next time I want to get down and dirty.

Since some of you are having fun with posting Idol Girl bands, enjoy!!
I kind of like these ones better

Wait, wait, wait. So, if your put your figure collection in a nice display case, and throw it on the wall, that's considered art?
Kid friendly macross snap kit?

Yeah, I had forgotten about the 1/100 scale kits. The ones I was talking about were the 1/72 scale.
