The list of things never re-released is much shorter than the list of things that have....

If memory serves, the modular nature of the SDF-1 was known right from the start. In short: if it wasn't modular, it wouldn't have survived its crash landing on South Ataria Island. An article made the distinct point that the most vital systems were in the central block, and although the outer blocks were damaged, the central one wasn't.
The ARMDs would have fulfilled the same role as they do in DYRL: they are the air bases for the Valkyrie and Ghost fighter wings on the ship.
Thanks...that makes sense....it just seems as if Global and crew seemed "surprised" when the transformation process is being explained to them in the episode.....
Regarding the TV version ARMD....so the launch mechanism is probably the same then as in the DYRL version? Didn't the ARMD claws "grab onto" the fast packs? Or can they launch valks without them? Only reason I ask is because I thought in the TV storyline...fast packs were not "invented" or introduced until much later.....kind of fuzzy right now, but how exactly are the lancers deployed....has that ever been covered?

This makes no sense to tie the engineers actions to the death of Christ.... Because then you have to tie the engineers failure and very bad things to Christ as well.
because it is much more acceptable (less "outrage" aka death threats, boycotts, general unrest) to do it that way.....imagine the reaction if "failure" was tied into Muhammad....

Complete:
Mechanic: M UN 12A: SLV-111 Daedalus: http://sketchleystats.webatu.com/Trans/MCRmechanic/MCRmechanic.php#SDFM
- its kinda interesting to compare and contrast what content was retained from the original, and what has been replaced or expanded upon. My highlight is the description of the ship's structure. Brings a smile each time I read it.
This was a good read..thanks!
One question, before the "transformation" episode.....was the modular nature of the SDF-1 known? If not, what was the need to have the ARMDs docked to the SDF-1? To resupply them or to resupply the SDF-1?

Was able to find everything of my list except....

Thanks for all the help in finding these parts!

Looking to buy a Yammie 1/60 Gamlin VF-22S and a VE-1 (Version 2). I'm looking for boxed items if possible.
I'd rather hook-up a MW member as opposed to some random Ebay guy, so shoot me a PM if you can help me out.

Crank it up!!!

No special marking on the box, Yamato only put a small note there saying this is the weathering version to handle with care.
Also, each part is usually individually wrapped. The destroids and valkyrie also have more plastic bags strategically covered in many locations on the figure.
There are black stickers on the boxes indicating they are the weathered versions too...

Well.....i respect your opinion but i still find it way overpriced , at the end is a free country right
!
Yes, but freedom doesn't come cheap...
....and neither does vintage Takatoku in excellent shape...

Have not seen it yet...but I had a question for those that have....Does the world envisioned in the Dark Knight trilogy fit into with the world as envisioned in Man of Steel?
In other words, can Batman as seen in the latest trilogy be a part of the world of Man of Steel.....essentially a DC Universe? How about Green Lantern?
The Marvel movies have done an excellent job of doing just that....heck, even Spiderman and X-men could easily cross-over even being created by different studios.....DC character movies have failed at trying to make one believable DC universe.........

!!
I wouldn't say it is absurd...just a little overpriced.....that is a lot of Takatoku he is selling at one time.....but if you think it is absurd, then please let me know when you are selling your vintage Takatoku at half of the price on that auction!!!

Finally found Book 1 from this vintage Macross Children's book set....this set is now complete!
Interesting that Takatoku Toys selected the Toshimitsu Suzuki's illustration of the SDF-1 for their toy box art rather than a Takani illustration...guess they just wanted to use one illustrator for the toys vs. kits?

canceled pre-order......placing all bets on Arcadia for PT valks going forward......based on what Bandai has done with this kit, I have little faith they can pull off a decent DX VF-1 sculpt, with that said....supporting the kit to encourage a DX VF-1 seems pointless......
Arcadia, don't fail me know!
