Erm, that is exactly what the very first item on the list is.
And it comes with a CD, too (unfortunately, jacking up the price).I'll take your word for it....although with MacF on the cover (isn't it SDFM's 30th?).....I won't get my hopes up.....I was thinking of a "fancier" book more akin to the recently released MacF genga hardcover....you know...classier and more expensive!
And will Tokyo Hunter carry this stuff??? ...Like they did the Minmay plushie??? I would probably want to pick up the "catalog"

I don't know if I missed this story. It's kind of old. But I just stumbled across this site looking for 30th Anniversary stuff.
I hope more is coming out. There is so much Macross stuff that I want like modern statues, a complete Macross Frontier soundtrack set, perhaps a Macross designed cell phone (I remember Evangelion and Eden of the East cell phones), anniversary books. I'm kind of disappointed so far.
Have to agree with you on the merchandise aspect....a nice companion artbook featuring many of the rare art from the exhibit would have been amazing.....missed opportunity I guess...
The only item I thought was unique the minmay plushie....but it should have come with a sound chip!!!!....

Saw that poster at anime expo this year, and passed it up. He was selling it for $120, but I'd rather have a DYRL movie poster in that size, or the Pachinko game itself.
Apparently it is one of the harder ones to find....Anything else interesting at the anime expo...macross-related? Any cels?
BTW...which DYRL movie poster version are you looking for?

So was there a screw up at the factory or was Yamato too lazy to make a new 30th sticker that made no mention of the option parts?
Going to be tough getting these parts if Yamato decides to "fix" the problem for customers missing these parts......

At ease soldier....bad things happen to well-intentioned people all the time....I also was affected and suffice to say the dude is trying to do the right thing.....he got caught up in a bad situation that he alone placed himself into....
The guy is liable for 2 grand and between RT and myself....he has made good on over $500 of it....I am sure he will make good on everyone else's money.....if you are owed money I suggest you contact him....
With that said, I hope he is able to recover his losses from those he placed his misguided trust in....and I hope he learned a valuable lesson....

So are Easter Eggs also part of Japanese DVD/BD releases? Wonder if the deleted scenes and/or other interesting things are hidden in the disc(s)?

Doesn't the picture of the box on the previous page say its with option parts? Not that I really care if it has them as I haven't bought a valk with them yet. So I don't know what I'm missing anyway.

No pics of these cavalier-specific colored option parts yet??? These parts will become part of macross legend...like the Macross Plus second novel...or the Takatoku Max and Millia wedding set!!!

I'm guessing the option parts only come with the ones sold at WF, then? Can I ask if the box you received actually has that "30th anniversary オプションパーツ付きSET (option parts included)" label on it?
Where have you seen pics of the Cavaliers valk sporting the option parts? The pics of it posted on the MW front page don't seem to show the parts on the valk?

Yes....ankles are a dijon mustard yellow.....stripes are red......body seems white, not off white....and sadly, head lasers are shown as red........but are these books canon?
I think the recent release of the VF-1A Cavaliers follows the scheme shown in the VF-1 Masterfiles book...but the animation scheme is slightly different....so who knows......
