  1. If you look at the history of toys, and specifically action figures, basically there were no real figure properties outside of the long-running Barbie and a long dormant GI Joe until Star Wars released in 77.  Once the licensing arms race combined with the removal of regulations preveneting Hasbro/Mattell/etc from producing half hour toy commercials kicked off we had all of these toys.

Outside of a few seemingly evergreen properties (TMNT), some smaller or occassional upstarts like Fortnight and foreign markets (because Japans toy market has always been different) I can't see how figures will exist in the same capacity as they do now with the late 30's to late 40's crowd aging out.  We basically started buying figures at age 8 and haven't stopped.  But younger generations don't care, it's like a return to the 70's prior to Star Wars.

I would assume they're trying to emulate the, frankly massive, forearms that the Vf-1 had in art like this.

A case of engineers who don't understand what fore-shortening is?  The firearm is large there because of its angle closer to the viewer versus the rest of the body.

    Domestic and International release?

Looks like yes.  The original Macross portion with Hikaru/Minmay appears to be DLC.  They can sell the base game here and then if they feel lik3 sharing dlc profits with HG choose to do that or make the dlc Japan-only.

  4. The armors and supers fit better on the new Hayate.  Except for my old Super thigh part, that apparently wasn't glued, and then every single thing that could go wrong gluing something did.  But it'll work if you aren't three stooges combined.

  5. You're right, the last Marvel announcement were the Winter Soldier figures six months ago.  I definitely am disappointed at a lack of more X-Men (though to be honest they've been nailing the DC licenses but have been very mixed on Marvel.)  Four deep on the Blue team and on our way on the Gold team.  I was hoping they would make an Iceman because it'll be the first time any company might make a decent one.

I'm actually curious to know just how bad is the AX run(s). Are we talking 1% or less, coming out so bad or having qc issues? I imagine Bandai doesn't care, if so..

It has to be much larger than that.  The odds of so many of us being part of that 1% is basically impossible.

That looks good. I think it will look striking in color.

I wonder why we never got a BotW Link from figma.

Don't know but given how long it's taken them to get their Dread Samus out I'd wager we aren't seeing this thing until 2026 at least.
