yay minmay! happy birthday! sweet sixteen lol

I'd call it adulthood with a touch of nostalgia.
thats what i'd call it too,its just nostalgia and a purist of the original story, nothing wrong with that at all.
I myself, love everything macross, altho it did take me alil while for me to get into frontier, mainly becuase of alto, but i like it mainly for the battles and klan/micheal. but its true, nothing beats the original macross and dyrl.

Theres no doubt that lynn minmay is a driving force behind the aspirations and ambitions of some of macross's main characters from series to series, Love or hate the miss macross winner but theres no denying she was the best there was and with her songs saved humanity and created a legacy.
Lynn Minmays songs have all been good,I cant think of a single song I cant listen to and not enjoy,To be honest I believe she is the only macross character that has given us all hits and great beats,
I placed a poll in this thread not only to say 'whats your favorite' but also to know what you think is the most uplifting and inspiring song in your mind that minmay has offered,a song that when you hear it no matter how many times it brings a smile or tap of the foot.
To me,I really like 'Sunset Beach' and 'Angels paint' everytime I hear them they make me happy, good beats and music and a nice chorus on each I find them to be quite uplifting, energizing and also work as great chill-out tunes,It is a hard one to choose but these two are the ones that play in my head most.

Wild speculation theory here:
It's going to be some kind of special armor the whip up to Match the VF-27 (either as a counter to it or to fight vajra like it). The big guns are quantum beam guns, with the "power condenser unit" being a device to draw power from the mech to charge the guns. the wing cover things have extra engines for more power/speed (just like the VF-27 with it's 4 engines), Micro missile launchers just like the VF-27, and it looks like the nacelle over the wing gloves (where the normal boosters go) may have large beam guns (just like the nacelles on the VF-27).
thats pretty much what i reckon they are aswell, probably go shoulder mounted in battriod mode too.

That new VF-25 pack looks wicked, cant wait to see it in action, the two main guns seem to be on a turret it looks that way.

Yeah chad is good, quite a funny show and pretty good for a fan made production making a darklord so amusing.

thats a cool pic, also shows another good use for destroids, they make Excellent 'Open Day' exhibits

No hero uses one so they won't get any luv.
hikaru used one to fend of renegade zents once, and the monster in frontier did some solid work to secure victories.
-
i know that its going to be alot of re-used scenes, but meh,im still looking forward to it. too bad we wont see it on the big screen like in japan but hey,the 50" is good enough.
-
gulds death in the movie was far superior then the ova,the gore and the strain shown on his body gave it more impact and emotion then any other scene,it ahd you glued to the screen of seeing the commitment and determination on getting the X-9 to prove to himself that pilots are better then AI controlled fighters, and he gave his life with valor unmatched, the eye popping just gave it the impact it needed to say 'damn guld, your a true badass'.
-
still waiting for my LE version from play-asia,i cant wait,im jumping around here, i have to find some images of the cover and the back becuase those images would be great desktop walls, need to get in to it,oh well back to some free-mode MAF for a while..

I like really campy and cheesy horror movies,
fluctuating obsessions with some game/anime characters,
Listening to soundtracks and piano music as loud as i do metal,
And I like to quote movies or confucius in conversations
