I am ready to kill paypal and this damn seller.
The seller cannot claim paypal payment because her grandson didn't add the "new" email to the account, so I had to cancel payment. She continually tells me over the course of last week to send payment to a different email address. I tried to explain I will NOT send payment without the auction # attached to it, that she must correct the problem. So friday morning she tells me her address is in paypal now. I send payment. UNCLAIMED AGAIN! So this is $200 floating in my account that paypal has put a hold on, so for 1.5 weeks I can't access this money in my own bank account. I basically told her to cancel the auction, I'm done. Thankfully she agreed and was apologetic. She WAS polite at least.
Okay this morning I get this:

As a security measure, we regularly screen PayPal activity. Recently, we
noticed a problem with your account.
We have reason to believe that your account blah blah...
So because I canceled payment two times in one week, they have locked me out of my account! So I signed in as far as I could and jumped through a LOT of hoops, then they ask for a phone number to verify I am who I am. I enter my cell #, and they refuse to call a cell citing it must be a land line to MY address. Guess what? I don't HAVE a land line. So! I have to wait 6 weeks for a LETTER IN THE MAIL to "proceed" jumping through who knows how many more hoops! I wonder if paypal will accrue interest on my two hundred dollars SITTING in that account for 6 #!@#ing weeks!
All this because the seller could NOT figure out how to log into paypal, add an email address and make it the primary.
