What are the main differences between TV and DYRL version? And the V.1 TRU edition CF is that TV or DYRL? Sorry I don't have any 1/48s

Graham, is there any mention when the Ghost + weapons set are coming out or how much they might cost?

I know Yamato is good with their release dates but what about Bandai? Can we expect the DX rerelease to arrive on schedule?

I am digging the 22. I like the 19s but not enough to pay $200.00 for each. If Yamato can make these can they now make variants for the VF-11? I may want to cancel my preorder for it in case there is a better paint scheme.

I am a big fan of mecha based anime in particular the Gundam series and thats where I got the clone concept from. I do see the character similarities but they did not all relive eachothers lives Ozma was like but not exactly identical to Roy, Cathy compared to Misa. Max and Millia compared to Mikhael and Klan. I really did like the similarities because this is an homage to a 25 year old series.

Hey all, couple quick questions. How much does HLJ usually charge to ship the 1/60s to the US EMS? Whats the difference for multiple valks? Full price or a combined rate? I never ordered from them before so my Max 1S is ready and the VF-11 should be soon so would it be cheaper to hold Max until the VF-11 is ready or just ship him now?

Sorry guys to derail your jap porn spur track but I just wanted to say I just watched all 25 episodes of Frontier this morning for the first time. All I have to say is this series was absolutely incredible. I will start out by saying I liked the line art and the mecha designs for a while but did not want to see the series mainly due to the other series were poorly translated (I think) and ended up leaving me kind of confused after watching them, but after seeing a clip on Youtube I got my copy from ebay and could not turn it off, I spent my entire day off falling in love with Ranka and Klan . The series kept me wanting more after every episode I even liked the music which I was never a big fan of before but I ordered the soundtrack 20 minutes ago . I was very impressed with the tie ins and nods to the original series and zero and I am glad that the characters are not clones of previous animes (thank god no one was a depressed whining spiteful 14 year old mecha pilot who was in love with a cybernetic alien angel princess of a hidden peaceful kingdom). I thank everyone of you on this forum for showing me the light and I can not wait for the movie. Side porn note? What happened to the nipples? Zentraedi genetics, grown in test tubes?

Would anyone else like to see some of the aircraft from Yukikaze make it to the 1/60 scale? I am not saying model kits, I would like to see Yamato or Bandai actually make a line of fighters. Anybody else interested? What about Area 88 or Ace Combat Fighters?

This is a great topic, I for one open everything unless I know something is in high demand (Marvel Legends). I also was forced to move due to my job and had to literally give away and sell over 4000 toys. This made me put a lot into perspective, first of all I realized paying for a storage unit to house toys I will never play with or display again was obviously just insanity. Second I still love this hobby and will always collect these items but I have decided to limit my collection to just Macross 1/60s, modern aircraft models in 1/72 and the occasional Star Wars vehicle. I believe it would not be a bad idea to only produce fighter/battroid/gerwalk mode valks because I only display my valks in fighter mode, heck I have never transformed any of them except my Ozma and 1 v.1 Yammy to fit the GPB armor on. I also think that this will also decrease the price on them which would put them into higher demand

Graham, I know you can't say anything but nod your head if you think there might be a new paint scheme for the YF-21. The only reason I did not get the 21 is because I hate the blue/gold livery, I would love to see maybe a new unique non canon paint scheme. Just let Yamato know they got a paying customer right here

Wow guys, great collections and I am glad to see I am not the only one to rig the Bandai Gundam stand to mount the Valks, now if Bandai would make a good adaptor for the DX to fit on the stand

I say let the new schemes come. I have a question, since all these companies see the demand for these valks, why doesn't someone just come out and make the ones that are in demand? As far as Bandai is concerned don't they already have the rights to the VF-171 since they already put out the valks from Macross 7? I would love to see the non VF-25s from Frontier make it to the lineup.

Great pics, one question, are these kits hard to paint or are they already painted like the Gundam models? I have yet to see these available anywhere in the US or any of the US e-tailers. These would go great with my 1/72 model airplanes

Thanks everyone for the kind words, as far as the shelves go I bought them from the Target in Hodgkins Illinois back in 2005, I bought 2 of them and the first one fell apart pretty quick, I should have known better since they only cost $50.00. The second one is the one in the pic, I had to redo the whole thing, glue, new screws and some clamps. now it's good. Now I need more space for Luca, the VF-11 and at least 4 more VF-1s. My dream would to be get any Macross Valkyries in the same scale as my big planes (1/18) I don't need them to transform because I love the fighters the most as you can see . Imagine the possibilities
