Were The Zentradi hunting them down because no one told them to stop, or were the Supervision Army still waging war on the PC/Zentradi.

The watchman known DR Manhattan for years, and probably got tired of telling him to put pants on.

I wonder if the G-man will survive sylar's attack.

SDF 1 started out as a supervision army ship. Was the supervision army still taking their marching orders from the Proto Devlin, or were they just trying to hide from the Zentrady and survive.

Like the ship the final five used to travel from Earth to the twelve colonies, or some kind of engineered space life form made from scratch. The Basestars are hybrid mechanical and organic with the ability to regenerate the colony was the prototype for the technology. Maybe the Earth cylons were trying to travel out side the star system, but the robotic rebellion happened before it could be compleatly crewed.

Do you think that it is some kind of space life form like the space whale from Macross 7 side story. The Cylons found, and adapted for their own uses.

I went ahead and watched part of the motion comic from On Demand that has the ending. Non of them showed him atoning for his sins other than the verbal platitudes Veidt spews to soothe his conscious. I will admit that it is a major flaw in the film showing his company rebuilding, and not putting it in to context. Showing a newspaper article announcing Veidt contributing to the reconstruction at a discount, or creating a fund to help the injured would have worked. I do plan to buy the graphic novel in the near future.

I should have said. Did some one build that out of a asteroid because it's texture looks rocky like they carved it out of rock. I didn't mean to say the Colonial Cylons built it sorry.

I'm not taking about stinking cologne; Veidt company is benefiting from the destruction he wrought on the city's, and by extension Veidt himself profited.

In the film his company is profiting from the catastrophe it just does not site well with me. Maybe if they had shown a paper saying Veidt resigning from his company, or undergoing some kind of penance for his dark deed. It might be different.

It would have cost me like twelve dollars to watch the entire motion comic On Demand, and it would have cost me twenty five dollars to buy it at Wall mart. That is why I was asking if it differed from the movie.

Are you talking about the fentrady automated factory satellite they jacket a year after the end of the first space war. if is the states are on Macross mecha manual.

In the graphic novel at the end does it show the rebuilding of New York, and if it does show the rebuilding. Is Adrian's company rebuilding the city like it shows in the movie because I see his company logo all over ground zero. That is what is making impossible for me to believe that Adrian did it purely for the good of man kind. I'm thinking of buying the watchman motion comic from On Demand from my cable provider. Does it follow the original comic or the movie.

Didn't the comedian discover the conspiracy while spying on the watchman for Nixon, or was he involved in it and had a break down because of it. That is throwing me off too he told mulick (cant spell it) he found a list.

Did Adrian build a tachyon generator to blind DR, Manhattans powers in the graphic novel.

What is "The Tales of the Black Freighter" is it a book or graphic novel. Every monster has had his reason for committing his atrocity they even have a kernel of legitimacy, but they all eventually do their thing out of selfish reasons power, money. Adrian could have convinced DR, Manhattan to go along with his plan by explaining it in a logical manner. Night Owl II, and Silk Specter could have been brought over to his way of thinking by using fear of nuclear war. Rorschach probably the one that could have been manipulated the easiest given his utter lack a faith in humanity; could have been persuaded by calming it would have scared morality in to humanity. Painting the city's as bastions of immorality and sin convincing him they were the source of humanity's problems that they were responsible for the little girls death. The reason he tried to drive them away form the life of super hero was because he is planing world domination. Adrian had to drive the only man that could stop him as far away from the earth as possible.

If he did nothing to prevent it other than killing millions of people. He knew it was coming for over a year he could have used his wealth and power to try to bring both sides to the peace table, or he could have killed Nixon. The movie did not explain Adrian's early life or career as super hero, and I was not aware that he came from money, but he was still doing this for power. It took forty years to build the worlds nuclear arsenal it would have taken a couple of decades to rebuild it to the the glory of 1985. I should have gone into more detail in to how DR, M could have dismantled the nuclear arsenal.

Adrian did not create his plan "to save the world" he did this for his own ends he wanted power. It was his company that was rebuilding new York at the end of the movie. Profiting from all those no bid contracts from the government hell he probably owned half of New York. Their are alternatives than building bombs and blowing up a bunch of cities. Adrian was supposed to be the smartest man in the world, and he could not have come up with a better plan than that. This man was planing this for years he arranged to give cancer to three people that probably would have taken a couple of years and developing the infrastructure of his company not something some one can just pull out of his ass in the eleventh hour. This was premeditated it would not surprise me if he was not conspiring with some one in Russia because I cant see him clandestinely building those Manhattan bombs in the middles of Moscow with out having KGB cooperation. Alternatives to blowing up a bunch of city's would be to neutralize the worlds nuclear arsenal not just the soviets. I'm not talking about destroying them in the air, but while they are still in their silos. With his powers DR Manhattan could appearer in the command and control bunkers of both sides disrupting communications between missiles and the command centers. After he disabled the weapons control networks he could go to the individual missile silos and transport the warheads in to space or transmute the uranium or plutonium in to lead or some other inert metal rendering them useless. This would remove the danger of nuclear war and send a terrifying message to the leaders of the world.

So a person that just kills and rapes is a worst douche than a man who orchestrated the deaths of millions. Let me rephrase with Rorschach did they give him a burial even if they just scraped some of his smearer off the ice of Antarctica to put in a casket. Why is Adrian using a monochromatic MacIntosh computer in his office and Owl man has full color flat screens in the Owl ship. Adrian is the most powerful industrialist in the world why does he use black and wight computer screen where as a man who has been retired for years has flat screens.

Finally the bastard is dead (not ribbons). I actually screamed at my computer when it happened.
