I have this bootleg version. In fact, I have both sizes. Pretty well-made, although the silver and stickers might look cheesy, but the plastic quality seems hardy.

No. The old style definitely has its charm and how we remembered the series to be. Of course, I would wish a few eposides are re-animated back then, like the episode where Max met Millia....

Well done, man! Ingenius about the base. Maybe you could try switching the wire to acrylic strips for transparency, only if it can hold the weight!

Neat colour scheme and painting. Are the legs suppose to be in grey as well? It looks grey in fighter but not in battroid, or you've shot it in different stages of work?

Generally, I like the aerodynamic frame of the Fighter mode and the Battroid mode.

I prefer the classy black. Boring to some it may be, but I'm afraid adding more CG images would eventually make it tacky... IMO taktoku's boxes are still the best looking ones.
