That's my take as well. I'm not importing any more MP's.

He can store 3 tapes. When one is ejected, there's a button or something that prepares the next one to eject. The weapons appear (on the birds, at least) to be integrated into the transformation.Someone refresh me on the Soundwave... it can store 3 tapes internally right? How does that work? Or is just conjecture at this point? For the tapes, themselves do the guns, etc still need to be stored separately? -
Negative. The Hasbro version's legs suffer from the same problem.

I predict significant price hikes far beyond what Hasbro has already imposed.

Thanks in advance!!
The email address is near the bottom.

Looks good to me VF5SS.
Did anyone ever send you a gunpod?
Nope! We're pretty screwed in that regard.
My offer still stands. However, it may take longer than I originally said. I live in New Jersey.

It's not so bad price-wise. Each lion is huge and detailed. The autotransform gimmick is really my only complaint...although it's a big complaint. The only things about the set that are obscenely overpriced are the pilots. The shipping was robbery as well since the shipments are staggered and we were charged each time, shooting the overall cost of Voltron much beyond what it could have (and should have) been.I checked some reviews on this Matty Collector Voltron. It looks like a lot of money for plastic with a lot of problems.
Again, only one major problem with this one. The joints are too loose to support the weight of the die cast version. Not sure if the joints on the plastic one fared better. But the Toynami Voltron is a damn fine toy and boasts the most screen-accurate black lion I've ever seen.I vaguely remember that the Toynami Voltron had many problems too. -

Maybe I'm OCD, but seeing the figure in direct sunlight bugs me a bit.til all are one

I'd be glad to loan you mine, but I'm getting ready for a move. Everything's all packed up. Maybe in a week or two if nobody else has stepped up.
Edit: Just to be clear, I have a Toynami.

It also resulted in Transformers figures, video games, and a television show that are influenced by the Bayformers look. So there's no "waiting it out" since any new TF product is already -I guess tainted is the word I'm looking for.- before it's released to the masses.the designs could have been much better than the shredded metal that we got. There was a huge opportunity to appeal to both older and younger audiences by going that route. Instead, Bay just gave the older fans the finger and did what he wanted, resulting in a divided fan base. -
LAWL!the exploding straw that broke the camel's seductively arched back -
Nice! Looking forward to seeing how they turn out.

The all Asian cast doesn't bother me. My concern is that Japan doesn't do live action well.

Mine arrived on the 12th. Quality items, folks. Many thanks, Exo.

If somebody could fabricate decent replacement hands for the Toynami Alphas, they could clean up here.

I have that Optimus in its original colors. I'm glad I got it for free because I don't think I would have bought one. The core figure, by itself, is misproportioned and looks fatter than a Sharkticon. The limbs are drone vehicles that are stored in his trailer. Not the most impressive toy.

If Yamato got Mospeada, I'd hope they continue the 1/10 scale Ride Armors.

A couple of MP Primes appeared at a TRU here in north Jersey (Paramus, specifically). They immediately sold out, but it's encouraging news for anybody in the area.

Going to re-post this here---someone found a clearer pic of Not-Silverbolt:
Eh...nevermind.

But the Toynami has the biggest feet of... Oh, I see what you did there.

Whether it's worth $100 is subjective, but I lean towards the latter.I was wondering if each of these individual figures are truly worth the 100 dollars they charge, or if a large price is more or less tacked on due to it being a 3rd party venture and a combiner. -
Damn. Missed it.

I heard this movie was filmed about three years ago and shelved. But now that Chris of Asgaard is a box office draw, the movie was deemed worthy of a theatrical release.
