  1. or you can try to do a mod. i had a look while i was in japan and i tought it is possible to mod the armor parts so you don't have to switch parts. it will take a lot of time to make the mod i think but to mee it looked possible. give me a year and i will have it done i think. hahahahaha my son is taking up all of my time i have been working on my vf25f for a year now. ;
  2. on the zealot forum he has said that he is think of making it a commercial paper kit. but for now he can't work on it because computer problems. (his screen died) so we have to be patient. and hope he can buy a new screen soon ;
  3. i am using some paperclips as axles and i am going to make the tyres out of rubber the rest is styrophome and aluminium. am not that much worried about the space it will take because i will mod the doors too so they will be a lot thinner so i guess i will only just come inside the inner frame on 2 places the wheel and the plates connecting the gear to the legs. the new doors will be about 0.6mm thick instead of the ~1mm they are now. but i will take pictures when i get that far.
  4. here is my design of the main landingear for the vf25. it has a depth of about 4mm inside the leg. i have’t build most of the parts yet since i got sick befor i could even finish my hands. been sick with the flu and neumonia. hope to have pictures of the real parts soon. landinggear.bmp
  5. hey kyekye i should be starting the mod of the landing gear tonight or tommorow so i hope i can show you how you can do a retracing landing gear soon. i finished all the fingers and already cut all the parts for the hand.
  6. kyekye have you thought about drilling a second 0.5mm hole in and locking it with a 0.5mm rod at right angle to the aluminium rod? may work better then just fitting it together like you did.
  7. if you look in the mod section of the forum i am busy designing articulated hands for the vf25.
  8. ok here are the design drawings i made for the hands and fingers. http://s604.photobucket.com/albums/tt130/h...vf25fingers.jpg http://s604.photobucket.com/albums/tt130/h...t=vf25hands.jpg it's bed time for me, i managed to speed up production after getting a new tool from the company that i work for. today i buildt 1 1/3 fingers in only 1 hour, so maybe this first mod will be done faster then i thought.
  9. i want to but i am building both hands at the same time and i only have time after putting my 8 month old son to bed. so at best i have 2 hours of working time a night and 1 finger takes about 1.5 hours to build. if you want i can show every one the design drawnings so you can try build it yourself too. right now i have 2 2/3 fingers completed. it's been a hard week for my wife and me. but because of your comment about the chest intake i am going to give that mod a try too.
  10. no problem i wish i didn't have the spelling problem but i can live with it because in japanese i don't have it
  11. then i think my mod will come to late, because right now i am working on a hand mod. my vf25 will have fully articulated hands.
  12. great build, looks great i am also thinking about doing a landinggear mod. if i get it to work then i will only need to cut the white part out of the landingbay. if you'r interrested i can tell and maybe show you how i want to do it.
  13. for all no my native language is dutch and i am dislectic wich gives me a lot of problems in spelling. and the part that i am showing is for an articulated hand yes. the finished part is only a little longer then the finger it will replace on the bandai hands. and for those that want to have articulated hands on there vf25 too it's easy to make the parts only putting it together is the hard part. that 1 finger is made out of 15 parts. the materials used to make it is very simple most of you will already have this in your home. what i used to build it is: - grey cotton - crazy glue - dove handcream (to prevent the crazy glue from glueing the joints) - 0.5mm steel wire - 0.5mm handdrill (but a needle will do the trick too)
  14. here are two pictures of the first two custum parts for my vf25. they don't look like much but it was hard work making the part and it looks like my idea for a custum vf25 will work. oh and parden my poor english please. http://s604.photobucket.com/albums/tt130/h...ent=finger1.jpg http://s604.photobucket.com/albums/tt130/h...ent=finger2.jpg
  15. i for one will try to do a mod of janx's vf2ss. i found out that 0.3mm polystyrene acts simmilar to thick paper. i hope i will be able to create sap to go with it and ofcourse 5 automatic attack bits but first i will try my hand at the vf25 messiah wich isn't out of the box yet but i have already started making a mod for it
