I want! Just wondering, and i haven't read the whole thread so if this has been said then sorry, but will the wings be able to swing on this model like the VF-0/1's? cause that would be great to have it with the wings back like when it was being flogged through the city but Isamu in macross plus.

Hey guys Just got to have a read of all the post and it really did sound like an awesome event, i'm still bummed out that i didn't get to make it to the con. I was sitting at work on thr friday at my desk generating my reports thinking "i should have been just leave perth domestic right about now....." If there are more of these events to come in the future i'm already going to start saving now so that i don't run out of funds like this year! We did have some money to spare so i was allowed to buy the entire series of Macross 7 and Frontier on dvd (i even got frontier with the CD soundtrack thrown in) as a "sorry we didn't have the money to let you go" present. Anyway looks great and MORE PICS PLEASE!!!!

there's still plenty of time for someone to try this out, or something similar to it anyway

man this is just gonna kill me but i have to pull out of this....... i was going to use my ruddy money to help pay for this BUT my car has broke down so a fair amount of the money is going to that AND my dog got hurt and i've had to take him to the vet for surgury so there goes the rest (and some of my own money!) so i just can make it now and with all of the extra thing being thrown in by the sponsers it just makes it harder to pull out!!!! Well enjoy the day guys, i know its going to be awesome just wish i could be there to share it with you all AND I WANT PICS ON HERE FROM THE EVENT...............that way i can at least pretend i was there

okay i haven't got much to do on my lunch break so i just spent the last 10 minutes reading about all this (well kinda, i didn't read in great detail) and i kinda want it back...... The one thing i don't think has been mentioned is the Guyer live action movie, i was so young and excited about it but i just felt dirty after seeing it..... And the DB movie looks just as bad!!!!!! I agree with graham, leave anime in its animated form!

Okay guys here's the pic i was talking about, it is the F-18 HARV plane but with different angles from the previous pic. It could work, maybe with some orange in it but the X-31 isn't bad either with the blue lead edge colours.....

there's another hornet one out there, i'll try and find a pic and put it up when i get a spare moment. @MDP310: yeah with hell weathering like it's been left out in a graveyard after they've used and abused it! i like i like For the decal coming through idea i was thinking about it last night ansd the idea i had (i'll test this before i actuallty do it) is to really water done the paint and dip the part into it slowly building up the paint layers until i get a result that i want.....it could work but i'll have to try it and see how i go really. Anyway i'll hunt that pic down and put it on here

Hi Guys Well with the wonderful $900 i'm getting from the government (if you not from australia, sucks to be you ) i'm finally going to get my modelling stuff set up and i was goingt to buy a VF-0 (probably an S seeing as all the A's and B's are gone ) and i've been wondering what to paint it as. I'm not interested in Skull ones scheme as a have a few of them in toys already so i've been doing some research to get some ideas together and i came up with this.... In the data i've been reading about they say that after the bird man incident the VF-1 was put into full scale production and the VF-0 was used as training/test bed duties until they broken down or scrapped. So my idea was to try and make a circa 2009 flying test bed airframe. My problem is what colour scheme to use???? i don't really want to do a white with little bits of red/orange (or something similar) so i was wondering if anyone had some ideas? I've looked at all the aircraft the NASA has used as testbeds and only one got my interest, a F-18 in a really dark grey(charcoal) with specific panels in black. Not bad huh and my other idea was to do it completely orange like the drone VF-11's out of plus, maybe with some other the previous details coming throught under the paint (eg: a skull and cross bones maybe ) Anyway what do you all think about it???

Gee its been awhile since i last had a look at this and having it in may could make it workable for me, i have money now! (sort of anyway) if i can convince the fiance to let me come across by myself then i could do this, if we can find out more about the hotel accomodation that would be good otherwise it'll be a backpackers place for me i think. Defineately put me down as a maybe for this now i just have to check with the boss about this.....wish me luck guys!

there is a quick action shot of the YF-1R/VF-1R in the animated series, in the episode where Khyron (sorry i only remember the robotech name... ) kidnaps minmay and lynkylie and UN Spacey use some loyal zentradi to send a message to Khyron that they're under attack to lure him out. When khyron (god i wished i remembered his real/macross name) gets there he sees the three zentradi duking it out with three valkyries in battroid mode. the three valkyries are VF-1R's there only in the standard cannon fodder brown colour scheme but there you go.....just a fun fact for everyone i think the UN Spacey database has some info about them too....

can anyone help me with a problem i have running fallout 3 on PC. It install okay but as i start the program it starts loading fine but as it about to start everything stops and i get one of those grey windows that comes up with an error signature that asks you if you'd like to "send to error report" or "don't send" the specfic error is something to do with the fallout3.exe folder, does this mean there is something wrong with the copy i bought or is it a PC problem. I'm running XP Pro (version 2002) with service pack three and the rest of my computer meets the minimum system requirements for the game. Any ideas????? this is really frustrating for me as i'm a big fallout fan from way back and have wanted to play this game for a while now and i am worried i've wasted my money (don't worry i kept the receipt but) anyway thanks guys!

hey question about vf-0b does it come with FAST packs?

LOL Seriously I must be the only guys who's bought the toys and not gone and continually transformed them, i set them in a really good position and leave them there........does anyone else who's bought the toys not played with them??? or am i just a freak

oh i like the pics of the build ups here and i do really like the VF-0's that came out now i just just have top come up with the money to buy all the stuff i need (paint, glues, etc...) yeah i guess i only bought the toys cause i didn't think i would have the skill required to make the kits but with the price difference only getting bigger its time to try. looking forward to getting the VF-0B but should be sweet as!

thanks for that, at least i know now not to get my hopes up about the 1/48's then. I've been looking at the Hasagawa VF-0B on HJL, that one looks good and should sit well next to my VF-0S from yamato, so you guys will probably be hearing from me more asking for advice on how to do things so just bear with me until i get but into the swing of things when it comes to models Cheers

Hi Guys Well seeing as the macross toys are becoming so expensive (thankyou very much yamato and the AUD$) i've begun to look at the cheaper macross models kits. Now i use to make models a while ago now so i still sort of know how to make them but my question is are there 1/48 scale kits being made? the reason i ask is that i like my big 1/48 yamato toys and i am worried that the 1/72 scale kits will be too small for my liking.... hopefully if i do start i can pick up some tip from the model maker on here anyway thanks for the help guys

DAMMIT! I can't make it to this one i'm afraid, just bought a house and i've gotten engaged too so all my money is tied up in a wedding and mortgage.... so no con, no macross stuff (i may have to give up collecting NOOO!!!!!!!) and no car stuff........its kinda like a happy and a sad moment all rolled into one really. Hope all you peps have fun over there but would have been a great weekend enjoy!

well i have a good HDTV and the DVD are meant to be region zero so they should work on all dvd players shouldn't they? The only DVD player i have is an Xbox360 which i know is only able to play region 4 DVD's but these region zero ones should play on that too shouldn't they?

Hi Guys Firstly i live in Australia and we use the PAL network now my problem is that i want to order in some DVD that haven't been release here like macroos zero, frontier and the DYRL movie perfect edition but most of them say they are in NTSC widescreen format or just NTSC format. Will these DVD's work in australia using PAL TV's? All the DVD's are multi region format so there's no problem with the DVD player but i don't want to buy them and find out i can't actually watch them. Any help here would be great guys Cheers

Get a SV-51 nora, my 1/48 max with FP was my number one pick until she arrived at me door one day, my GF was giving me death stares but nora soothed my fears and helped me ignore her! LOL i'm glad to see people have the same feelings about there first one, mine was a 1/48 roy from DYRL and i just loved it but $250 on a toy seemed a little extreme but i got over it quick

would be interested in coming but the price of flying to brissy from perth is pretty high so i will need to get a price closer to the date. Maybe all the perth people can get together and come across in a group and sort out some cheap pleaces to stay for the time.......or am i the only one?!? and i'd say we have to have max and miriya's first fight above the SDF-1 from the TV series in......but maybe i've said that cause they are my favourite characters......plus it's a cool fight
