Hi Guys I"ve been looking everywhere for information about this one particular enemy powersuit that we see for something like 3 second during the final battle of the SDF Macross TV series. See i think it's a much better design than the standard N-Ger that they had but, i guess cause we only see it for 3 seconds, there has been no explaination of it like other mecha have. So i'm wondering if anyone has ANY info about this design?????? I've found the weak explaination of it in the Robotech sites as a "officer power armour" but we all know that stuff is just a lie anyway Oh, and sorry if this has been posted before. I've done a couple of searches and come up with nothing (well, other than some rather interesting "discussions" about other power suits/armours and uglist mecha designs ever...) thanks!

I have the first version of the four dvd covers that were put up in baronv's reply. Mine even came with the soundtrack too so i can't complain too much if the quality isn't the best

I'll have to check what region my DVD's are from then cause i've got good english subs on mine...

I think i actually got a malaysian copy of frontier, it was okay but the biggest thing that got me was the amount of ghosting i have on my dvd player when i run it through my TV, but it is fine on a computer.

Hi All Been a while since i've posted anything but i'm looking at getting a PSP and this will be one of the first games i will be purchased (or downloading...) for it but i've got some questions. Before i ask them i have not trolled the 30 odd pages for this information and i've had no luck with the search query so far so bare with me: Do i need to have the PSP hacked to play or will it play the games without requiring the PSP to be hacked? Seeing as it is a japanese game is all of the language in Japanese or come someone who does not read the language still play it? Will i need a Japanese PSP or can i buy one of the Australian (PAL) machines are still be good to play? Like i said bare with me on this as i'm a noob when it comes to PSP's. Cheers

I haven't read all of the post here so if this has been mentioned then i am terribly sorry but what if the original SDFM was redone with the higher quality of aimation these days? I've seen multiple series have this treatment done to them so why not update a classic. Just think they could use the squadron markings from DYRL (so skull squad. from SDFM would actually be skull squad.) and there would just be so much good eye candy we can dream....... oh and they could give the squadrons VF-4 update towards the end of the series.....i know its not really historically accurate but would be damn cool!!! now i'm dreaming/////

yeah looks like i'll be able to enter then! I'm waiting on my insurance payout and *hopefully* they play nice and play me out heaps so i can replace the xbox360 with the elite consol and i can pick up a PSP then MAF then i just gotta come up with the money to get over there and duel everyone!

I'm still working on whether i can make it over there but i have got a good plan for a custom 1/48 yammie seeing as the angels birds are being sold so bloody cheap at hobbylink japan that it'd be worth picking on up and doing something custom on it now i just got to be allowed to spend the money! LOL

nah thankfully they didn't take any of my stuff but my fiance kinda wishes they did and to follow the previous question do we have to mod the PSP for the macross ace games to work or is it good to go straight from the box?

heya guys thread looks like its coming along nicely but i now need to get a PSP and a copy of the macross games so i can beat everyone in the comp! maybe.... And if we're suggesting place for it to be held how about sunny Perth! we it's not really very sunny right now but i would be around april/may next year. And if was held in perth i'd be a shoe in for sure, still seeing about next year over east but. we got broken into about 2 weeks ago now (don't worry they didn't take any of my babies, to my fiances discust, and the forensic cop that came around to print the place was a robotech fan! I know i should have picked on him but i didn't but he loved all my gear ) so we gotta see how much they'll pay out and how much we need to spend on replacing other stuff but i'm still trying, still upset i never made it to this years one. Maybe we could start a "help all the perthies make it to Mac Aus Con 2010" charity fund

I like the idea of sydney for the next one, that way i can tag the weekend over there with a meet the new in laws event i'll have only met my new wife's (well wife in october) family on my wedding day so that would make it easier to convince my other half of letting me go!

If yamato want to get picky they can prob do a VF-17 under the M+ licence, if i remember rightly you see the shadows of two VF-17 flying toward new edward test base at the start of the series.....its a stretch i know by they could use that excuse would love a VF-17 in fighter mode for me, if i had the money to buy it right now

well i'm starting to catch up on some of the people on here, i've seen SDFM:TV series, DYRL, Macross 2, Macross plus, Macross zero and currently working my way throught Macross 7 so i can get to my disk set of Macross Frontier (i'm sooooo looking forward to this one!) One thing to note here, i remember reading about how people didn't like M7 but i am a completionist and wanted to see it, that M7 is good to show a lot of the newer VF designs and fills in the story a bit (plus is has MAX in it for all you maxophiles like me ) but my fiances and i have a running joke with the series where she leaves me to watch some episodes and occasionally comes out to ask if Basara has been killed yet. If you watch the series you really (and i do mean really) watch to see this guys get killed - that and watching gamlin give himself heamoroids during combat everytime Basara turns up is kinda funny in a sick way too LOL Just my two cents
