I use Easy Off (Oven Cleaner) quite often to remove paint. It's nasty stuff, but it does indeed work wonders.

I can handle special requests, within reason. I make custom sets for MW members quite often.

That 1/48 Roy is going to stay in its original form. I will be customizing other ones for a few MW members, though. Once I recoup the printer repair costs I might buy another 1S and customize it. I haven't decided yet....

Not to mention some sample shots of the new Blue Roses and Enigma sets in action. Note how the Low-Vis sticker on the leg armor blends in with the paint job--that's intentionally done to make a true low-vis scheme for the Enigma valk. If the decals were printed opaque, they'd look a little funny....

Very impressive. I will be glad to help support your fund raising effort. I'm interested in customizing my 1/60 fokker strike valk (I have the same thing in 1/48, so customizing wouldn't hurt too much). I was wanting to know if anyone had any pictures showing the Angel Bird color scheme and Minmei Guard scheme... picts of a custom yammie would be great, but anything would help. They both sound very interesting.

When will the normal 1/48 as well the Fps stickers/decals will be ready again for pre-order as im interested in some. Not forgetting the 1/72 Blueroses set 002 decals for the hasegawa battroid series, which i have requested as a commissioned job for me. Do let me know as well the others when you can begin taking orders for these decals/stickers sets. Take your time to finish your customs and previous orders first, its no rush as i can wait. Great job by the way on the custom sets.

All of the sets I have made will be available within a few days, which includes ones like the 1/48 FAST Packs. I'm still working on that 1/72 BR set for you.

I'm putting the finishing touches on four of them right now, but I will be releasing 16 new decal/sticker sets later this weekend, along with all of the usual ones. Some of these I've had for quite some time (Blue Roses, Angel Birds) but I didn't want to sell them widely. Then my ALPS printer died and had to be fixed, so I'm releasing pretty much everything I've created (44 sets in all) as part of a fundraising effort to offset printer repair costs ($400). I use Windex all the time to strip Tamiya paints. It works wonders and doesn't hurt the plastic. For particularly difficult stripping I use Easy Off Oven Cleaner, although it's pretty nasty stuff.

And the Enigma side. Note how the low-vis sticker on the leg armor blends into the paint job. I designed them to do this to keep with a true low-vis scheme. If the stickers were opaque they'd stick out too much....

I took a few minutes and slapped some stickers from these sets on my FAST Pack armor. Here's the Blue Roses side:

Why was this thread moved from the Toys forum? I'd REALLY like an explanation from whichever moderator is responsible for this, especially since VERY similar threads started by other MW members are left untouched (e.g., those showcasing takatoys stickers, discussing customs, etc). If mine are going to be moved here, all of the others should be, too.

As part of my fundraising efforts to offset the costs involved with fixing my ALPS printer, I've decided to release these sets (and all of my other rare ones, plus the usual ones and some new ones) for general purchase. I will most likely only do this once because I don't want too many of these customs floating around out there--I love the designs too much and I'd like to preserve their uniqueness. Keep an eye out for a thread in the For Sale forum after Thanksgiving.

Louis, ChrisB is indeed commissioning 1/48 custom versions of all four valks pictured in this thread. I'll probably be helping him with a few of them. His fleet of customs is legendary....

Will there be another set for the Super Fps for the 1/48 VF-1J/Fps for those who purchased those instead of the 1/48 VF-1J valk by itself. I presume it will just take a little modification for the 1/48 DYRL Fps decals/stickers to change it to the TV series Fps.

Devin another question for ya, are the stickers printed on 3M translucent sheet same as those that takatoys uses?

The FP set already has the markings for the TV armor, including the "kite" symbols for the boosters. I don't use the same sticker paper as Takatoys. The kind I use is from another company and is actually a clear vinyl film. Very thin, very flexible, very adhesive.

Devin do let us know when you will be starting on the 1/48 Stickers/Decals for the valks and Fps so that we could order some for you.

I designed stickers/decals for the VF-1J a long time ago, in anticipation of Yamato releasing one. They come as part of the "Standard Set." You can see the "101" and "VF-1J" markings clearly in this sample pic:

This isn't the most recent sample pic. I added a few more VF-1J markings since this one was created....

Those are real tempting! I would love to customize one of my 1/48 to that top pic you posted! Did you say these decals are $35 each?

If I start selling these, they will be closer to $20. The 1/48 Minmay Guard sets will be more expensive because they require more ink, paper, and clearcoat to produce.

Anyway, for those who want to order this set (and others), I will have them available in a week or two. I am trying to complete all outstanding orders before taking new ones.

My printer arrived yesterday (thank goodness) so I am back in business. Some members wanted to see a 1/48 Minmay Guard prototype and I needed to test out the new printer, so I thought I'd kill two birds with one stone. I printed out a set of stickers and slapped them on my 1/48 Focker. Not pretty, but you'll get the idea that everything fits properly.

Edit: The nosecone fell off while I was taking pictures....
