Is that a YF19 keychain on the bottom row?

I'd like to ask everyones help on something, if you can.
I swear I have seen the above poster before in pictures from an article on Macross toys and models.
I cannot for the life of me find where. I went through all of my books and magazines and can't find the pictures.
The images were black and white, showed IMAI or Takatoku employess setting up displays of toys or models, and would have been from 1982 or 1983. PArt of the display were these posters or this image on another poster.
Does this possibly sound familar to anyone?
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks!
Okay, it took me a while to find it, here it is in the Magazine or Anime And Hobby Fans #2 Macross.

Do any of you have this item and can you please post a pic?
Thanks!

So there was this anime convention about a month ago here in the Minneapolis/St Paul area in Minnesota and I was thinking of going to find some good comic/anime shops. I've never lived in the metro here before and have been in Arizona for the last 6 years. Anyway it turns out that it cost like $50 to go!
WTF...is this the normal price for a ticket to an anime festival or con?
They wouldn't let people buy just a day ticket, you had to buy the entire weekend. Is this normal?
If that's the case why bother. For my wife and I to go one day just to look around and maybe buy a little stuff its not worth it.
If this is normal, than are these cons and festivals limiting the people that can afford to attend. How many high school or elemtary kids are gonna fork down $50 just to go to a convention?
I imagine the $50 admission would include a weekend pass. Weekend passes usually include Friday nights, so really you're getting 2 and 1/2 days.
All cons offer 1 day passes and many cons offer a dealers room pass for $10 - $20

There is also this deleted footage from episode 1 of the ASS-1 after it crashed on Earth. I think it bares more resemblance to this pre-crash sketch than the rebuilt version. Most of the animation doesnt support this though, so I always assumed thats why it was cut.

You can see some of the models built by Macrossworld member Jung here (the first 3 links)...
Wow, thanks for that link.... turns out there's a Cyclone/Ride Armor toy out there that I don't own. That pisses me off.
Absolutely incredible work on the models. His MPC pics are also a great way to see the difference between the early Scott Bernard MPC and the second editions (with the lighter blue intakes).
Oh, I told you about it, you just dont remember
More than likley there is also a Henkei Type Legioss also. The two Korean bootleg toys you own are more than likely are based on those two Henkei Type Mospeada toys.

look at this way its only about $134.oo So still not bad.
as stated in the auction will Combine shipping
great
Also, This the most expensive auction I could find, your thoughts.

A tiny bit on the high side, but I have seen YF19's go for $250+ and the other two for $150+, so not too far off.

I see alot of people have pics of the newer models, are you going to need pics of the Bandai 1985 re-issues or original Nichimo, ARII and IMAI?
I can scan a lot, but I want to make sure you already dont have them.

I'm going to pre-order at Robotech.com even though Twin Moons has it for $2 lower.
If rumors are true that HG may allow Yamato Macross toys domestically and if this helps persuade that decision, I'll be saving a hell of a lot more than $2 on 1/48 Valkyries
:D

I love that pencil board. What posters did you get?

Buying stuff on HJ involves using a buying service and they dont exactly keep track of your auctions for you
I always forget what I bought since I can't jump online like ebaY and see all my completed auctions and the double shipping takes over a month.
I imagine thats what he means

Cool thread.
I started a similar thread on Toybox DX a few months ago so I will just re-post from there.
I once bought a c7 box, c10 toy Takatoku 1/55 VF1S GBP Giftpack for $300 using money that my roomate had given my wife and I for rent. I kept track of the money so she never knew when I got paid from him, so when I paid for the toy on Paypal from our checking account, I lied and said that I was buying something for a friend of mine and handed her the $350 (shipping) that was really hers too. I really had a problem then and I am not bad like that anymore. That year I was out of control and spent $7,000 on Robotech and Macross stuff.Â
She hates my collecting and one of my worst fears is that if we were to ever divorce, she will get half of it and would sell it. That wouldn't be fun. I think she tolerates it partly because its worth something.
Damn Bro!! I'd say, if a divorce is on the horizon, sell the whole collection to a buddy for $1 well ahead of time, then split that with her
. You can always buy it back from him after the dust settles.......
Definately nothing on the horizon
She would know if I did something like that unfortunately, and I wouldn't get away with it. Its my fault for using the excuse, "but it will be worth something years from now" and," this thing is worth $75 and I got it for $10"
I guess the hard part would be for her to prove what it is worth since there are no price guides for 95% of this stuff.
But, its not like there is any reason for this to happen any time soon

Wona bunch of stuff from Yahoo Auctions japan. but I forgot all about it. until it showed up today.
I got a MIB VF-1S Roy Fokker 1/55 with instructions and slightly used decal sheet.
It also came with a complete set of GBP armour but loose. And to top it all off I have the instructions for the GBP. Mint decal sheet and for some reason the 1/40 Gerwalk Nikick instructions and decal sheet mint.
So the gift from my GF is complete and the GBP she gave me is complete with instructions and decals all around.
Oh and I got a bunch of posters and a Mospeada pencil board. Will post pics later.
I think the Toy Gods are smiling on me
I would be interested in seeing which posters you got

Okay basically since I've got tons of space and still not knowing what to do with it, if anybody has, knows someone, or knows of a page whether updated regularly or not or even no longer kept up but still has great content I'm wanting to start a Link archive on web space to allow people more variety and to let those people who are justing starting up a page or not a widely known page.
Either reply in this message, pm me or e-mail me at briscojr84@hotmail.com.
Oh also a short blurb about the page would be great, mainly macross related or giant robot/futuristic armor ship type of pages, but personal pages and others are okay.
Thanks.

Uh, a blurb... I don't know. My collection of Macross and Robotech/related stuff.

I will be flying in for AX and would like MW Con to be at the same time or the weekend before. I want to spend the 4th with my family so I cannot stay for the week after AX. AX is fun, but definately not going to take up all my time so I wouldn't mind spending that Sunday or Saturday doing MW related things.
Edit: SDCC does not interest me so I would not be going to that.
