Wow, thanks! I had no idea. Do you have a lot of the old Animedias? I have a bunch of old Outs and My Animes and The Animes. I don't think I have any Animedias.
As for the third item, I thought the exact same thing.
I have only 7 issues from between September 1982 - December 1984. I am always looking out for more, but they arent very common. I am also having a hard time tracking down OUT and Animec issues. Otherwise there are plenty of Animage, My Anime, and The Anime out there
The other trick is getting all the furoku. I almost always end up buying the inserts and posters seperate

My friends and I started buying the new Star Wars line in the mid-90s. That lasted a few years. But eventually gave up on it.
Same here. More specifically it was the Galoob Star Wars Micro Machines that initially got me hooked when I was 20.
-
Second one is a magazine insert also. Animedia July, but I'm not sure what year.
-
The third one looks like an insert from a record or a Laser Disc, but I have seen all of them I think, and I've never seen that one before.
-
Already did. These aren't on Macrossworld. I'm asking here because these are apparently unknown Macross items.
The first book is a Macross DYRL script that was a bonus in the September 1984 issue of Animedia.

I remember seeing it about 12-13 years ago. All I really remember is that it had a teenage guy who had a yellow speeder type bike that could fly in space, and he hung out with a pirate looking guy with a beard and pointy ears. It was really good, and it's been driving me nuts because I want to buy it!
Was it possibly Birth/Planet Busters?

8. work 242 (NOFF is NOFF mix)- Front 242
dude, thats one of my favorite Front 242 songs No one hardly ever knows that song I've been trying to figure out the lyrics for years. I even emailed Jean-Luc DeMeyer, but he never responded

Yes, I would agree with JELEINEN to take off the original Appleseed OVA, but I would put Black Magic M66 in its place
I would also add M.D. Geist (Not everyone likes this last one, but I do)
Also, was Ideon released in the US?

Thanks! My head is completely bald so it was a wig. The costume was bought completely at thrift stores except the wig and the gloves. I only wish I had time to add a propeller blade and handlbars to the hat
awesome! How much hair gel did you use, or was that a wig?

Hey, now we know what Bryan Davis is up to...

I know there's a handful for Macross, at least one for Southern Cross, but how about Genesis Climber Mospeada?
Anyone? Bueller?
Thanks.
If you like Mospeada line art, there are a lot of sources, but not one comprehensive source. The best is the Animedia Mospeada Graffiti book as mentioned above, but only covers the first 11 episodes. The second best source IMO is the Japanese Mospeada DVD digital art galleries. Here is a list of Mospeada line art sources:
Animedia Mospeada Graffiti
Artmic Design Works
Entertainment Bible 19: Artmic 1
Animedia Vol 11, 1983 (insert)
Magazine For Anime and Hobby Fan No. 1
Magazine For Anime and Hobby Fan No. 2
File for Animeca Fan Mospeada Vol 1
File for Animeca Fan Mospeada Vol 2
IMAI Plastic Model Magazine 1983 Vol 3
Mospeada TV DVD (Japan) vol 1 - 6 DVD booklet - episode line art
Mospeada TV DVD (Japan) Vol 1, 2, 3, & 6 DVD extra - digital line art gallery
Robotech Art 1
Robotech II the Sentinels The Illustrated Handbook #2
Palladium Invid Invasion
Palladium The Sentinels
Palladium REF Field Guide

It's been on TV since October, 1969. I don't think that there are many shows with that kind of endurance, in any television market on Earth!
-
I actually already had this on my hard drive:
-
Ugh. All I can picture is that horrible pilot episode of Blazing Saddles the TV series. Absolutley hideous. It really didnt work because the humor was dumbed down and softened for TV and the inclusion of a laugh track just topped it off.
I suppose with this new series being broadcast on cable and given the populatrity of Adult Swim and Comdey Centrals adult oriented animated shows, it could work...
-
Wow! What can I say that hasnt been said already? Amazing work. I would buy a recast! Great job!
-
Also, the red rubber version is exactly the same mold only its an eraser toy

Worst Toy Ever:
And it doesnt even have a Gerwalk mode and its transformable...

I just bought a new Nano and I did a lot of shopping around to find trhe best deal. I could not find a better deal personally than the Apple Store for refurb Ipods.

I like the John Wayne, "I'm to cool to die in a hospital" theory. I think that fits his tough guy persona best

Majestic, you should check out a band called Destroid. I first checked them out because of the name and they turned out to be a realy good Industrial/Synth-Pop band. I did a post on them here :http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=13238
I'm REALLY late to this party, but I just wanted to mention that Destroid (love the name) is actually a side project of Daniel Myer of Haujobb, one of my favorite industrial/electronic groups. Myer's a big sci-fi geek, so I'm fairly sure the name is a Macross reference. After all,
"Haujobb" is a (mis)translation of "Skin Job" from the german version of Blade Runner, so that should be a clue as to his interests.
Oh, and as far as music (my main passion besides Macross/SW), the following bands/albums are currently in rotation:
Code 64 - Departure (great synthpop band who bases a song on Captain Harlock-gotta love it)
Covenant - Skyshaper (one of the best in the EBM/synthpop genre, still at the top of their game)
Depeche Mode - Playing the Angel (ditto)
DJ Shadow - Live! In Tune & On Time
Edge of Dawn - The Flight [Lux]
Fad Gadget - The Best Of (synthpop fans take note: Depeche Mode used to open up for *him*)
The Faint - Wet From Birth
Front Line Assembly - Artificial Soldier
Gnarls Barkley - St. Elsewhere (it took the Star Wars outfits to grab my attention, but this rules!)
Haujobb - Solutions for a Small Planet (THE classic electro-industrial album)
Kattoo - Megrim
Ladytron - Witching Hour
Larvae - Dead Weight
MC Chris - Eating's Not Cheating
Monster Movie - All Lost
P·A·L - Modus
Saltillo - Ganglion (DJ Shadow fans take note)
Seabound - Beyond Flatline
She Wants Revenge - S/T
...and I still throw some Macross mixes on in the car from time to time.
Freakin Sweet! Another Rivethead on this board!
I found out shortly after I posted that it was a Daniel Myer side-project, but there wasnt much interest here, so I didnt follow up with a post Have you heard if there will be a follow-up album? I would so be down for that. Those tracks stayed on my IPod for 10 months (I have a shuffle so room is limited)
I'm sure you have listend to HMB. I've never been a big fan of Calire Voyant, but there are some killer tracks on that album. Plus it has Dennis Ostermann from ISC on it (if you like ISC)
Whats in my CD player on the way to work right now:
La Floa Maldita - Salut Jacques
Laibach - Jesus Christ Superstar
Grendel - Soilbleed EP
Funker Vogt - Execution Tracks - Limted Edition B
ohGr - Sunnypsyop
ohGr - Welt
Informatik - Re:Vision
OMD - Best Of - European release
Diary Of Dreams - Freak Perfume
Edit: Hey, how is the new FLA? I really need to pick it up. I loved Civilization, so I hope this new release is in the same vein..

I have 8 of these including the Rhino, I'll get em out this weekend and post a list.
OHsato Stickers
in Wanted
Posted
That picture actually shows 2 different Ohsato sets. The top left two stickers go with the sticker book and the card envelopes. The two cards on the right are from another Ohsato set of jumbo sized collectible cards.
I bought a box of those stickers and it came with 3 books so after filling one up and having one empty, I have one book extra and bunch of stickers. I'm pretty sure I have most of full set if you are interested. Do you have anything for trade?
