Back when Ace Combat came out, I downloaded the high-resolution sections of the YF-19 and VF-1S featured on their website. I took the time to stitch together them, with the intent of posting them here. Apparently, I never did. Sorry 'bout that! So, here's the VF-1S: OK, the file size was just too big, I guess. Luckily, I had it backed up when my hard drive crashed! So here's my 25 years of Skull Squadron wall: I can alter the resolution if there are particular requests. It was a video game that came out a couple years ago, allowing you to play as Valks, Gundams, and a whole lot of other giant robots I don't actually recognize. Others here likely know more than me about the gameplay and the other robots. I just know it had a neat trailer and high-res pics of some of the mecha. It was only viewable in flash, however. So, to get the high-res pic, I screen-grabbed each section, and stitched them together in Photoshop. After that, I decided to alther the 19 to Roy's colors. And actually it's not Ace Combat but "A.C.E." standing for "Another Century Episode". There are three games total. Macross doesn't make an appearance until the second game; SDF Macross and DYRL in ACE 2 & 3, and Macross Plus in ACE 3. Star Dragon Posted July 27, 2009 Share Posted July 27, 2009 The opening movie is awesome (Go cuz!!!), but when it got to gmaeply why are the characters done so... Painfully? It was also as bad as flash? Why not go for something like Enix-style FF animation? I mean, they did everything else top notch, why slack off on the characters? No offense was intended.
