I will make it into a VCD thing....A guide to Macross/Anime shopping in HK! Starring...(you guys would know who?!) WE WILL BE FAMOUS! (Yeah, right!) Comments? Paulo haha, I did a Film & TV degree and I work in television so I can give you a few tips! Just stay away from the zoom and you'll be fine! Thoughts? ...and a follow-up tshirt saying "I went to Superdimensional Shopathon 2004 and all I got was this lousy tshirt because I was too drunk and womanizing to buy toys". Looks like I'm probably not gonna make the trip this time The House Finance Committee has spoken and has determined that funds are low to the recent technology purchases (two laptops ). KROQ Inland Invasion tickets and a trip to Vegas this month are also to blame for the lack of funds, a House spokesperson commented. On the plus side, funds for toy purchases have not been affected by the surprise purchase Have fun shopping, guys. It sounds like it should be a blast! (2) what is the color of the t-shirt provided by the supplier? white? black? both? Anyway, there are a few things we need to decide upon: - 1) Color of the T-shirts. I suggest either black, red or white (personally, I'd prefer not white as I always manage to make white T-shirts dirty)! 2) Style of the T-shirts. Standard T-shirts, or Polo Shirt (with collar). 3) Long sleeve or short sleeve. 4) Artwork location. If we go for a standard T-shirt, I think the art would look better on the front. We can of course have artwork printed both front and back, but this increases cost. If we decide on a polo shirt, then I think the art would look better on the back, with perhaps a small embroidered logo on the front. 5) Number of T-shirts? How many does everybody want, 1, 2 or more? While I don't have a firm idea of the price yet, as a rough idea last year I had some T-shirts made up. these were red cotton, short sleeve with a 3 color picture printed on the back and a small embroidered logo on the breast. they cost about US$5 each. Ditto for long or short sleeves - either or is cool! And as far as art goes, I'm a big fan of the art on the back - I think it's cooler and a bit subtler. You see all those star wars fanboys with a big picture of yoda on their fronts.. yuck. 1 tshirt for me! I don't forsee my wife wearing one to work. Graham I am back! Been travelling around lately! Anyway, my vote is: Black, Dark Blue is fine with me...(we might try neon orange so we don't get lost at night at the pubs!) Shirt style: Polo shirt....so I can wear it proudly to work!!!! My size: Large, and I will get 3 Style: Short sleeve Artwork: Front logo, and artwork on back. Price: As long this doesn't go over 10 each, I am fine with it. (5) MWS Hong Kong '04 (Macrossworld Shopathon Hong Kong '04) is my choice on the back with some nice graphic art. Just telling me 'Large Size' is no good as there is a big difference between a HK large and a US large. 3) The number of T-Shirts you would like. 4) The color you would prefer. Note, I will have final decision on the color. 5) The style you would prefer, either 'T' or 'Polo'. Note, I will have final decision. 6) The sleeve length, either long or short. I will have final decision. Please note, I'm only getting one style & color made up. The above info is just to help me make a final decision. Please put your info in the following format. For Example: - Graham / 42" / 2pcs / Black / Polo / Short. Sebastian / 48" / 3pcs / Navy Blue / T / Long. Blackaces / 56" / 10pcs / Red / Polo / Short. At the moment, I'm sort of leaning towards either a black or dark blue, short sleeve Polo shirt, with printed art on the back and a small embroidered logo on the left breast.
