well, i have to sell my desktop (family emergency in mexico..) and since i don't have the time (or the energy) to burn all my files to dvd's, i opted to turn my unused extra 200gb sata hdd into an external...so i was wondering if this one http://www.compusa.com/products/product_in...uct_code=333111 would be any good...only reason why i chose this model is because I really don't have time to wait for a shipment and would like to buy it in-store if possible... also, is it worth upgrading your laptop's disc drive from a dvd/cdrw combo to a dl dvd burner? i have an old toshiba tecra a4-s211...it's running on a 1.6ghz pentium m and recently upgraded to 1.5gb of ram... i was just asking since my toshiba would be my primary computer for a while..

nope...i bought some good "street" type headphones... i ended up having to go to a bestbuy that's about an hour to get 'em tho...i'm deaf in one ear so it's sometimes hard to find a good set of headphones sound good going thru both sides since i'm only hearing the left channel of music... thanks! i really appreciate it! recently upgraded to firefox 2.0 and the whole spell checker thing caught me off guard (since i usually lurk here...i hardly type anymore) as far as the games on the nano goes, i could care less now... i tried playing solitaire on it for a few minutes and it was a total nightmare... and i've had my psp stolen from me and my cell was ran over by some jerk... i don't have money to pay for a new psp at the moment and my new phone won't come in for another week due to some problems with the sim card (thanks cingular )... i just wanted to play tetris (which i would've bought thru itunes) for a while til i could afford a new psp when i come back from mexico in a few weeks (grandpa's dying) and yeah, i didn't mean to batty about getting a free ipod...i meant to batty about the 10-20 crap accessories i'll never use just to get a stupid usb cable (THANKS BESTBUY FOR YOUR STUPID BUNDLES) unfortunately, i had to come to bestbuy on a day where all the usb cables were taken... usually i would've ordered the cable online but i needed it the cable right away due to last minute call from my cousins telling me my granda was fading fast...

it kinda sucks since I had to buy a usb cable for it and stuff and even the headphones... and i found out that there's no real way to get any games on the the gen 2 nano...it's okay though....i have no real need for a music player since i always have my laptop on me and i don't really like to listen to music while I'm walking ha ha ha .... well, I'm just glad to have this nano!! p.s. the word correction thingie on firefox is seriously starting to annoy me

so i found an ipod nano 2nd gen a few months ago and turned it in to the local police station...i recieved a call from the police station last friday to see if i wanted it...so now i have an ipod nano and i don't know what to do with it...i had anapod from when my nephew use to us my computer for his ipod so i'm using that now...i recently found out that you could download games from itunes but devistated when i found out they were only available on the gen 5 models...i was wondering if there was a way of playing those games on my gen 2 nano..

i was wondering what software dvd players fellow MWers use... i've used PowerDVD for years and haven't had any problems till recently when i tried playing some older adv dvds with it...any suggestions on alternatives?

i would get her that if it wasn't an MG kit...she's a (near)full time student and works full time so she doesn't have much time to do anything except on sundays but she usually studys then...that, and it'd be her first model kit ever... i might end up buying an mg strike rouge and build it myself for her

from what i read on the soundwave mp3 player that's coming out, it uses a micro sd card or was it a micro sd slot? and what's the maximum size card you can put in it? i think both card types only go up to 2gb...any ideas?

cool...now i have something to look forward to! i'll probably get the hi-nu when it comes out, looks like such a beautiful kit...and i'll definately get blue destiny unit 2...i'm really hoping for some gundam x models soon too... by the way, a female friend of mine loves robots and she wanted me to choose a gundam kit for her to build on her own...any suggestions? i just remember her telling me "i just wanna pink gundam" so that might narrow it down some!!

i've been wanting a kit of unit 2 from blue destiny... does anyone know if it'll come with parts to convert it into Nimbus Schterzen's colors? also, the zaku ver. 2.0 looks really nice...i just hope bandai makes something over the top for MG #100...then again, no other ms is as iconic in japan as the RX-78-2

her name is...Keeley Hazell well just to sort of get back on topic...there's just so many MG and even beautiful 1/144 HG and HGUC kits out there it's really hard to decide what to buy...if I had the money, I would easily spend $2K in the kits I want...getting around to building them is a different story...I still have a couple kits from the whole amazon super sale on gundam kits from last year...I have yet to build 'em...It took me 6 months bo build a model kit of the Hazel kai that I bought almost a year ago also...It took me almost a whole 12 hour shift to complete the Hazel kai (and that's in between calls...I'm a phone operator)...Do you think I should invest into some good sprue cutters to make my life easier or does the good ol' cudicle cutter and x-acto knife good enough?

i know there was a set of 1/144 chrome and clear kits from endless waltz but deathsythe hell custom looks more like it's 1/100 scale...

if a 1/144 HG kit of it is over 3 feet long and costs 250-300 USD, I would hate the pricing for a 1/100 scale MG kit...but i could imagine the beautiful internal details...it'd be beautiful and deadly (to your wallet at least) and where would you put it?! man i could just imagine how heavy the box would be...the HG kit weighed something like 10-15 lbs right? dang...that's just way too much haha...

well imo, it'd give someone who loves the toy a better reason to custom paint a scheme on to the toy, especially with the pilot/rider

well i just saw the preorder up on twinmoon right now...looks like they're gonna get it on 1/31/07...which means it might be released either a little bit before christmas or a little after...judging by the date, it looks like it's a little after... btw, is there an other etailers that are gonna have it?

hopefully it's more of a graphic novel or something...not just one of those novels you read and see like 2-5 cool images in...
