Myersjessee Posted June 28, 2004 Posted June 28, 2004 Ive always had good luck with Hobbyfan. The one kit I got from them was well done...and I have not heard any serious complaints before about them.
Jolly Rogers Posted June 28, 2004 Posted June 28, 2004 Just FYI, the resin kits they carry are not original/authentic. Is their site down or taken offline?
fulcy Posted June 28, 2004 Posted June 28, 2004 Just FYI, the resin kits they carry are not original/authentic.Is their site down or taken offline? Actually, you can't say that about all their kits - they do carry some authentic stuff, and they also carry recasts...
robokochan Posted June 28, 2004 Posted June 28, 2004 I have done business with them. Fast Service and quick with communication. Also their shipping isn't half bad either. Good Store. Rob MN
rarityraider Posted June 29, 2004 Author Posted June 29, 2004 Thanks for all your replies on my problem. I will beware of some you're mentioned. Thanks again.

Actually, you can't say that about all their kits - they do carry some authentic stuff, and they also carry recasts... I know they carry authentic plastic injection kits like MG Gundams, etc. If they are also carrying authentic garage kits then that's news to me - must be a fairly recent thing.
to177 Posted June 29, 2004 Posted June 29, 2004 I can vouch for Hobbyfan. They are very relible and the quality of their recast kit are excellent. Never had any trouble w/ them before. They were nice enough to actually let me into their shop to handpick my selection of recast kit personally.
gnollman Posted June 29, 2004 Posted June 29, 2004 Me too. I've bought a number of their resin kits, and have no complaints. High quality recasts, well packaged, and honest people.

They've carried authentic G-System kits for at least 2 years now. It's where I got my PG G-Defensor from...
Myersjessee Posted June 29, 2004 Posted June 29, 2004 Not to mention CobyWans kit...(Lancer) thats original resin...
godfather Posted June 29, 2004 Posted June 29, 2004 http://www.hobbyfan.com/Is it reliable? [Vorlon] Yes. [/Vorlon]

I thought you mean they carried authentic kits from Kotobukiya, Kaiyodo, Volks, etc. Do the G System kits carry the license sticker from Sunrise?

Oh - I thought you meant authentic as in original, not recasts - since Hobbyfan is notorious for carrying recasts of original, hard to find kits. My bad!
