Why don't you draw/edit the two girls together (back-to-back, perhaps, with the cute little fighter-girl on the right side?), each colored differently?

The more I look at my test pic, the more it screams "COMBAT SITUATION!"

Suggestions for the upcoming pic:

-Give the Battroid girls corresponding numbers, as if they were wingmates. Custom coloration, too.

-Girl #1 (on the right in my pic) should be firing. At least put some smoke on those barrels.

-Girl #3 (Fighter girl) should be in CF colors, maybe trailing smoke to justify her facial expression

-Maybe a burst of tracer fire or a QRau beam between the two girls?

-Put a strap (garter belt?) on those...things...on their legs. It hurts to remove 'em if they're glued! Or draw some crimped fabric around it if they're wearing leggings or tights or something.

-Maybe a small battle going on in the top...
