I'll assume you're talking about the Hasegawa kit. I'm not sure of its rarity, however, it shouldn't be too hard to find, but I'm very sure about it's transformation: It doesn't. Not everyone wants a variable model kit to "play" with; variable kits mean more display options. As far as the YF-21 being a good one to "play" with. . .
