macross-vf-1s Posted August 31 Posted August 31 Hi, the holder of the missile pod broke from the right wing of my yamato VF-1s TV Version(super parts) and is tightly attached to the missile pod. See image below as reference: With which strong glue can I strongly attach/glue the holder to right wing again. This holders hole(broken one) is too tight and many weapons are difficult to insert, how to make it less tight? Thanks in advanced for any kind suggestions. Quote

You could just try an abs glue like Bindine from the hobby shop. It’s pretty good at bonding abs plastic if given time to set. Just don’t pour too much in or you could end up melting the wing. Quote
Goodman Models Posted August 31 Posted August 31 As to the second issue, you could use a drill bit to open the female mounting holes SLIGHTLY, or you could use a bit of sandpaper to LIGHTLY shave down the diametre of the male insert peg. Just take it slow and test fit until you get the fit that you want. Quote
macross-vf-1s Posted September 2 Author Posted September 2 Hi, Thanks for the help. Going to do it so. Where I live there is no hobby shop even by a far distance(other towns, cities or so). Is there an internet website where I can buy this kind of glue? Thanks again. Good forum. Quote

Sandpaper or drill bit are easy to get at least where I live. Thanks. Quote
