Unidentified 1/55 VF-1J

Does anyone know what version this is?? I have never seen anything like it. Is it a custom version? It's stamped Takatoku.

Interesting. I've never seen a 1/55 enigma or even heard of it (I'm relatively new to collecting though). I bet it's a custom. Thanks

I figured I'd find this here; I was following the eBay auction and couldn't figure out what was so special about it.

I can't believe it sold for $216.50, even for a Takatoku

It sold well due to the weapons cache. Someone was hoarding weapons, clips, and missiles. 

Without the cache I don’t think the listing would have done well.

Still a great haul for the winner.

That is true. Didn’t think of that. 
tbf, the seller added the picture of the stamp and added the weapons days after the action started and even then it was over $100.

Just seemed high for non verified Taka at that point. Def congrats to the winner. It does look cool as hell.
