CWModels- I notice that you use Tamiya Epoxy putty alot, but many people have also meantioned using Sculpey. Have you ever used that, or is Tamiya your preference?

Yes, I use Sculpy too. The yellow stuff you see in the tutorial threads are that. The problem I found with sculpy is that they don't sand well and can't be used for fine detailing. So it is only good for making general shapes and large parts.
