grogall Posted March 7 Posted March 7 Votoms Plastic Model World will be held on the 15 of March. This will probably be when Wave will announce their next 1/24 AT, I hope Bandai also makes some announcements as well! Quote

Even modern anime is very light on markings and they usually don’t exact all. Newer gundam shows and Macross or whatever, and you may be lucky to see an emblem. All that 3D cg stuff and it still isn’t there other than extremely rare cases. I don’t know if the new Votoms stuff will have much as far as markings or just go bare minimum Quote
grogall Posted March 7 Posted March 7 (edited) Speaking of FATTY markings 😱 With some colours you can turn it into a Gundam! 🤣 Edited March 7 by grogall Quote
grogall Posted March 10 Posted March 10 (edited) Can anyone explain what is up with this figure I found on Mandarake? The HMR FATTY is clear but a vinyl figure with zero articulation and 0 features going for 5000 yen more then the HMR is, for me unexplainable!? I wouldn't even want the figure for free! 🤔 Edited March 10 by grogall Quote
jenius Posted March 10 Posted March 10 Vinyl collectors are a whole different beast from toy collectors, believe me. Quote

grogall Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Just a small note to people who own the Hi-Metal R (STTC) that people might not have noticed!? But if you shine a light into the leg vents, there is a silver coloured grill visible that you don't notice otherwise! 😉 It's nice that small details like this are added although you can hardly see it! 👍🏻 Quote
grogall Posted Saturday at 04:10 PM Posted Saturday at 04:10 PM Review of Bandai's (Capsul Toy) V.O.T.O.M.S. Kind of forgot about this series..... what scale are these? 1/60 !? Quote
grogall Posted yesterday at 11:16 AM Posted yesterday at 11:16 AM (edited) Mandarake has the Hi-Metal Scopedog that was released in February down too 12,000 yen or roughly $75.00 USD. For those who might be interested but don't want to spend too much! Edited yesterday at 11:18 AM by grogall Quote
grogall Posted yesterday at 01:12 PM Posted yesterday at 01:12 PM (edited) Hobby Japan Web, has more images of the Hi-Metal R Scopedog (Melquiya) Forces version, this is closer to the final release with the GAT-35 Long Gun, ATP-BP1-ST Parachute Backpack in the final version! Battle scenes can be reproduced! Introducing examples of the use of "HI-METAL R, Scopedog (Melquiya) Military Equipment" and "Armed Option Set for Scopedog" that are receiving popular orders! [Armored Trooper V.O.T.O.M.S] This time, we will introduce the "HI-METAL R Scope Dog Armed Option Set" and "HI-METAL R Scope Dog (Melquiya) Forces version", which are currently receiving orders from "Armored Tropper V.O.T.O.M.S", which has also announced a new anime. "Die Graue Hexe" "HI-METAL R Scope Dog" is compatible with the "Armament Option Set for HI-METAL R Scope Dog" that is currently being ordered. A newly shaped GAT-49min, 50mm Pentatrooper, SWAT-38, 9 Tube Shoulder Missile Gunpod, and SAT-03 Solid Shooter Bazooka & ATC-BR1-S Round Mover that have been renewed to match the color optional set are included. Another title logo that can be attached to the dedicated base is also included. " It is an optional set linked to the AT that has been released so far, such as the "HI-METAL R Scope Dog" and the "HI-METAL R Scope Dog (Melquiya) Forces version", which is also being released. HI-METAL R Scopedog (Melquiya) Forces version" comes with a newly shaped log gun and a parachute zack. The scope of the GAT-35 Long Gun has a movable mechanism, allowing movement according to the turret lens. SAT-03 Solid Shooter Bazooka, ATC-BR1-S Round Mover The SAT-03 Solid Shooter Bazooka is equipped with a telescopic gimmick on the barrel, and the ATC-BR1-S Round Mover has a built-in sliding mechanism at the top and the movement of the vernier support. Battles between scopedogs using the armed option set. In fact, this imitates the package art of the armed option set. This time too, it is Mr. Hideki Tenjin who will work on the package art. *Note: Its nice to see the red missile, tail fins on the SWAT-38, 9 Tube Shoulder Missile Gunpod, but I looked at all the Episodes in the series and can't find a gray, SAT-03 Solid Shooter Bazooka!? Also does the (Melquiya) Forces version come with a bullet hole to the head? 🤔 Edited yesterday at 02:06 PM by grogall Quote
