bouncing boy77 Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 hey guys, as the title says, what's the best way to remove panel lines? i purchased a valk from a fellow member here, and its been panel-lined with a water-based gundam marker. i have no experience when it comes to panel lining. would q-tips dabbed in water work? i'm still waiting for the valk to arrive, i just want to know what would be the best way to go about removing it if i decide to do so? thanks a bunch!
Mallet21 Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 I'd start with water and if that doesn't work try a 50/50 mixture of rubbing alcohol and water. Should clean it right up.

DO NOT USE GUNDAM MARKER REMOVER. That thing eats into all sorts of paint and if used too much, probably eat plastic too. Your tampo printing will get ruined if you use Gundam marker remover. IMO Gundam marker remover should only be used to eliminate small blemishes on bare plastic.
