Hiryu
Hello, I've begun to put together my own Hasegawa YF-19. I'm having trouble getting the color right for the hull. Can anyone tell me what mixture or color(s) they used to paint theirs? Thanks! Edited April 27, 2009 by Hiryu
David Hingtgen
wm cheng used "50:50 Tamiya gloss white and flat white, with a few drops of XF-59 Desert yellow".
Penguin
The instructions call for 50% white + 50% radome in Gunze acrylics, which is what I used for my first one. The second time, I used the same Tamiya acrylics David mentions, but I went for all flat with 80% XF-1 white with 20% XF-59 Desert Yellow. Guess I wanted a deeper colour than WM. Hiryu
thanks I'll try those! I've seen some pics of wm's and it's definitely amazing. But yeah, I think I'm also looking for a little deeper as well.
