I thought that's from the Genius Party anthology of anime shorts featuring 7 renowned anime directors, Kawamori included. But apparently its not. Seems to be another thing called Ani*Kuri 15 which i have no idea about.

I thought that's from the Genius Party anthology of anime shorts featuring 7 renowned anime directors, Kawamori included. But apparently its not. Seems to be another thing called Ani*Kuri 15 which i have no idea about.

Here's the offical url to these shorts of Ani*kuri (anime creator). It seems it's some kind of promotional manouver of NHK. Kawamori is in the third season of shorts, so he will be available in the official site only after a while.

Anyway, the NHK's transformable building was very "Macrossish" There was even the sliding wall Too bad the short last only a minute

About Genius party, the short done by Kawamori is called "Shanghai Dragon". I am very eager to see it

I thought of the same scene, except that the transformer building idea was from the evil wise a$$ executive and Tom Hanks was fiddling with it with a "WTF?" expression and says something like: "Can you guys do a plane or an insect that transforms into a robot, because a building is kinda lame".
