A question on the 1/48

When the 1/48's are in fighter mode are all the cut outs for the heads to move up into the body the same or are they cut specific for each head and fighter. Basically is it possible for the 1J head to fit onto a 1A body and transform without any problem.

I am not at home right now to take a good luck, but I do think all lower portions of the cockpit look like this.

They're all the same

There's no problem to fit a VF 1J head on a VF 1A body and transform it!!
