Anyone try this before?

Has anyone taken a 1/60 (VF-1A Max or Hikaru specifically) and modified it so that it could accept fast packs? Any DIY links out there?

I don't know if anyone has done it for the leg pieces, but I know someone's done it for a CF (so just the backpack).

There we're some topics on it a few months back, I was looking for it as well and I remember people stating drilling hols on the top and sides of the legs so it could accept the notches for the FAST packs.

here man if you read the first page of this link I think vf19 pilot and hybrid child were lucky enough to get a 1/60 vf-1a cannon fodder with hole already in the back pack. So there are some variants of the cannon fodder with holes with out holes etc. Just have to be lucky 1/60 vf-1a cannon fodder

DAMN! What the hell is YAMATO waiting for in terms of having to release the 1/48 CF! It's just gonna be a re-paint of the 1A line, how hard can that be to do?! I think it's time for them to shape up!

I posted it a while back and got some good advice from the people here. I was able to mod my 1a max without any major problems.

Now's it is wearing my vf1j fast pack and looking pretty bad ass.

I've done it, but what I pretty much did was take an extra Strike VF-1S Roy and combined parts to make a Super VF-1A.
