Geez down with soccer moms and all the mountain-out-of-a-molehill jerks. Stuff like that gets my blood boiling. For my part, if my wife and I decide to have kids I promise all of you that that kid will have all the "violent" and "choke hazard" toys he/she wants, and you know what?......the child will turn out a peace-loving individual with high morals and no need to make the world a more irritating place like these people. I don't buy into their theory at all. I grew up playing with toy guns and "violent" toys. I watched rated R movies at a tender age.....and I'm one of the most non-aggresive compassionate people you would meet. Same goes for about 99.9% of my friends I've known since my youth.

It's pretty clear to me now with this new round of pic that the Takara will indeed have the long 'stacks and no battle damage. I hate to see the people who are purchasing Hasbro loose out, but I think this is the way it's gonna be. Better packaging, no neutering, paper trailer.....definently worth the extra 25 to me That Hasbro packaging is a freakin' buzz-kill.... I need quality presentations!

If you'll notice in the picture there are two versions of Prime. The robot mode has the battle damage and short stacks, and the truck mode has no damage and larger stacks. I'm still betting the Takara will look like the truck mode version....

I'll start with some obvious ones... The Phantom Menace....which is more life-like, the backgrounds, the actors, or the witty dialogue? Battlefield Earth....hoark-fest deluxe Lost in Space (the remake)...why ruin a completely sub-standard tv show in the 1st place? Edit: Oooh I thought of the worst one for me....but it's more of a mini-series... did anyone see that lame British verson of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy? That almost made me cry it was so bad....poor Douglas Adams

Nice find! I haven't seen that before. I hope the 1/48 line stays strong for a long time to come.....or at least until they release a VF-1A cannon fodder!

I invariably think these statues look the best in their "proto" grey state. So yeah, I'd just have to wait and see... Please post any current pics you have! Edit: NM you already posted that! Yeah, I really think Palisades has pooled some major talent in their sculpts....I really don't know where this Optimus came from...and what's the deal with him and Meg destroying their respective logos?....if I was OP, I'd be treading lightly...

Yeah I can't say much for this one....must have been an intern. It just looks mis-proportioned to me. First, he looks like a rabbit, and 2nd his pose looks like he's about to grip his chest in a fatal heart attack. !No Bueno!

From what I've seen, Palisades has some major talent in their sculpting dept. I've always came away impressed...just look at their Alien Queen. Definently a company to watch out for...

Has there been any rumors that OP's trailer will be made? It'd be friggin huge....like 15" or so. With the ingenuity that's been going into the new line, I'm sure they could make it transform into something amazing. Huh huh huh....that would be cool.

I would genuinely be dissapointed if they changed the scale. That was my biggest beef with G1(the only other TF I collected) even as a little tyke!

After DAOC and SWG, I swore off MMORPG's, but a small part of me wants to see one suceed in the one catagory most of these fail to provide:fun The FF universe is a cool setting for a MMORPG, I'd like to heard an update from you after a few weeks of play.

Man that is a really nice custom scheme. You have the skills! Here's my 2 cents on finishing it out.... I agree that the head and hands need to be addressed. They kinda don't fit at all with your bad-ass scheme right now. Maybe paint them a lighter shade of your overall color and give it a matching chest stripe and gun to tie it into the overall design. Enough with my suggestions.....#%&ing great job!
