  1. Armored VF-25F will be re-stocked in February at R10! http://www.rainbowten.co.jp/cgi-bin/reinboutenn.cgi That Erick guy is me asking
  2. Interesting, I had no trouble getting mine to fit perfectly nice in fighter mode. Really solid too, you can go *woooosh*whooosh* with it and need not worry about something moving out of place. On the other hand, I found battroid mode to be too fiddly, and gerwalk was almost as nice and tight as fighter mode...
  3. Box content reveal! http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/image/10100764a/20/1
  4. Had we seen the boxart for the Vf-27 before? Credits go to ngeekhiong!
  5. http://ngeekhiong.blogspot.com/2009/10/new...hii-nation.html Acording to ngeekhiong, it is actually the VF100 version!
  6. Whoa, it looks really nice! I took a couple of pics of mine, I wanted to post them a few days ago, but the damn cable for the digicam was missing... I just want to mention that I didn't use future, just purple chinese ink dilluted in water. Here are the pics:
  7. I did mine with purple chinese ink, brand is Stafford, but I'm note really sure if they sell it in the States, I'm in Mexico. I'll take a couple of pics tomorrow, as right now the effect won't be fully captured by the camera, but I am really happy with the result, and I didn't do anything fancy, just put some ink in a little cup with water, a dip, some paper towels, and all done.
  8. w00t, I just got my payment request from rainbow ten for the RVF-25, super parts and SMS Stand!
  9. Ummm... where did you read that HLJ will replace lost SAL orders? As far as I remember, in their shipping FAQ it's stated that they are not held responsible for lost items if you don't select to use EMS as your shipping method. Regarding rainbow ten, I am in Mexico, which has quite the reputation when it comes to lost items, and I haven't had to deal with any lost packages from rainbow ten yet, however, that's well beyond their control. Packaging wise, they are discreet, and they also pack everything nicely, trying to use the space as best as possible without compromising the safety of your items. Yes, they use newspaper as padding, but hey, it's japanese newspapers! You don't get those often here in the Americas. I think of it as an added value, haha.
  10. Yep. They handle priority much better than HLJ. They do work on a first come first served basis, which is very nice.
  11. http://www.rainbowten.co.jp/english/ Nice people to deal with, and apparently they haven't sold out yet...
  12. Rainbow Ten has listed the Super Pack with a tentative release date of February 2009! w00t! MACROSS F 1/72 VF-25 SERIES SUPER PACK 2000YEN(1600YEN) FEB Thing is... how much will the yen go up during these two months?
  13. Heh... sorry to hear that. I was really satisfied with the result given that this is the first time I've ever used water-slide decals, as Zoids and MG Gundams were my only previous experience, and as you probably know, those use stickers and dry transfers, which are much easier to do than decals. Anyway, I hope you get the result you are yearning for, good luck!
  14. I don't mean to go off topic but... OMG, a fellow zoider! And going back on topic: I am not sure, but perhaps you are talking about the attached pic? I got mine to fit pretty nicely using Mr. hobby "Mr. mark setter", looks pretty nice too... is that the decal you were talking about? Edit: UGH, forgot to resize the pic... it is a huge file... sorry!
  15. Yep, that F-15 is 1/72 as well, the other mechs in the picture are 1/72 as well, ZOIDS if anyone is interested. And yes, the F-15 is MUCH bigger and bulkier than the VF-25... It's like the VF-25's chubby distant relative or something like that...
  16. Just wanted to share a few pics of mine in action, yet I don't think it is worth starting a new topic: And I've attached a few high res pics, just because the kit deserves it...
  17. Rainbow Ten is already taking pre-orders for the Ozma version. It's the last item in the bandai section of their model news page: http://www.rainbowten.co.jp/english/news/n-release.html To order, go read this: http://www.rainbowten.co.jp/english/howtoorder.html and then go here: http://www.rainbowten.co.jp/english/index.html
  18. I went with rainbowten. I had originally pre-ordered with HLJ, but had an issue with their customer service and cancelled. I'm glad I did after reading some of the nasty things that have happened lately. Rainbow Ten shipped my order the day after the VF-25's release date, and the price was quite low as well(3600 yen). Shipping via EMS to North America(Mexico) was 3600 yen, and I ordered quite a few things. They are really kind and efficient too. You can't go wrong with those guys. Unfortunately, they are listing the VF-25 as sold out as well...
  19. https://bandai-hobby.net/news/index.html Release date has been announced: September 18th. keke ^___^
  20. Can't be sure of that, take this for example: http://www.hlj.com/product/KBYZD14 This is a recolor of this other item, which is a snap fit model kit: http://www.hlj.com/product/KBYZD07 Unfortunately, HLJ is not always accurate when it comes to descriptions of items not yet in stock...
  21. HLJ is now taking pre-orders: http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN955525
