Yes.
But to us Canadians, its expensive. 130-150 shipped. Ouch!
DAMN! I just bought the Double Nuts, the YF-19 Fold Booster and some Maxpedition Gear so I am tapped for a while............ $130-150 is still too much though.

Is any vendor selling these online yet? It looks so awesome I am tempted to pay the price premium.

There is a lot of Robotech hate here. And it is NOT necessary. Robotech and Macross are two separate unrelated intellectual properties.
Macross fans can HATE Robotech all they want. But without Robotech, Macross would not have the international fan base it enjoys today. Without this international following, there would be a much smaller primary and secondary markets for merchandise and yes, even new shows. I'm not saying there would NOT be international Macross fans, but Robotech did introduce many of it's western audience to the joys of eastern animation and storytelling.
I don't "hate" Robotech either but like Darkwind said I think allot of people here are turned off by what Harmony Gold has done in the past.
I do have to admit that once I learned that Robotech was 3 different animes bastardized into one cartoon it did kind of ruin it for me. I still like Robotech (that opening orchestral theme is still epic for me) from a nostalga point of view but once I watched the original Macross and Macross Plus I was converted to the house that Kawamori built.
Nevermind that I never did understand HG's whole protoculture thing. I'll take Yak Deculture! any day, at least the J-Pop's catchy.

I hate and envy you all at the same time! Thanks for the pics and keep them coming as you build the kit, if you can, please.

Shipping cost me like $30 bucks to Canada. So I didn't think it was too bad. Better than the $40 EMS shipping Hobbby Search was going to charge me for the Fold booster (thank Jebus they sent that one SAL).

BOP and DN are both on sale on Angolz for $120US right now. Purchased the DN last night.
-
Check out Angolz. They seem to be having a sale on some of their Macross stuff right now.
Bought a YF-19 double nuts on Angolz last night for $120. You can also find the Max and Mira 1/48 on sale there for under $100 which is a complete steal.
Does anyone know of a site that has the VF-1 1/60 Max and Mira in stock? I waited too long to purchase these and now I can find them in stock at Angolz, Overdrive, Hobby Search, Hobby Link or Ami Ami.

Logos is close on the V2 VF-1 toys but not quite. The VF-1J Hikaru that came with the GBP was old stock so it's not safe. The VT-1, for whatever reason, also has the old shoulder hinges so it is also not safe.
My VT-1 does not have the knurled pins in it. So I think it might be luck of the draw on that one and I did forget about the VF-1J Hikaru with the Armored parts.

Hey maybe if the DYRL version does well enough they might do a TV version. I kind of lean to the DYRL verion. The DYRL has the cool detail and the TV has the nostalgia .... and the cool arms....... God help me I want both.
-
If you can find the older ones at a discount or deal I would not worry to much about picking them up. I have 2 that have cracked shoulders and if you remove the shoulder armor and loosen the screws about half a turn you should be ok. Even if the shoulders are cracked just be careful with the shoulders and loosen up the upper arm screws a bit. I have yet to break off the cracked arms on mine but I am careful with them.
If your feeling really adventurous you can remove the pins that have the "knurling" on the ends and sand/file the "knurling" off to fix the problem.
That being said the latter models are a better choice if you want to avoid the issue. The VF-1D's are great (hell all the 2 seaters are). Safe bet is buy a latter release valk and buy the strike or super parts separately if you can find them. A Low Vis Roy Valk with strike parts would look pretty cool I think and the Max and Mira VF-1 Valks (blue and and red) should be fine too.
Safe bet on other valks.
VF-1 - Everything that came out after the Max TV color version is supposed to be good I think. So the Cannon Fodders, VF-1 Low Vis Roy, M&M, VF-1D's, VE-1 and VT-1. The anniversaries are supposed to be fine but they can be expensive.
VF-27 (Bandai) - nose paint can be a bit fragile but otherwise great.
VF-11 - great and the only problem I have with mine is getting the gun to stay in the hand sometimes. Also the canopy gimmick can be a real bitch if you have large hands. Comes in White or Grey both are good.
VF-1D - Great.
VE-1 Elint - Awesome toy.
VT-1 Ostrich - Just as great as the Elint.
Armor parts for VF-1 - Great and no problems.
VF-22 - Good and none of the versions I have seem to run into the floppiness problems that I got with my YF-21 in battroid mode.
Destroids - The Tomahawk and Defender are great!
Konig Monster (Bandai) - Seems to be fine. Too new to know if some problems will creep up over time.
Special mention:
The Macross Quarter (Bandai) - yeah it's a floppy mess in ship mode (hence all the stand pieces). In Battroid mode it is my favorite Macross piece! If you can find it for under or around $100 don't hesitate to buy it.
YF-19 - latter Double nut release (can't remember the other) are supposed to be pretty tight so they would be good to pick up.
VF-1 1/48 scale - if you can find one. They have some issues too but still a great toy. Try and see if you can find one cheap...it's worth it to have one as they have the removable nose cone gimmick, movable flaps on the wings, and a sling for the gun pod??? .
SV-51 - yeah they can have floppy wings. Only really matters if you are going to be swishing it upside down or on it's side allot. My floppy Nora just sits in it's stand (in various transformations depending on the mode that I am in) and I still love it. Paid less than $100 for it too so that's probably why.
-
I wish people would get off that already. I have 7 VF-1 v.2s and the only 2 of them have the cracked shoulder problem (no canopy problems or broken hips, etc.). I do not find them to be fragile toys at all. Yeah I am ginger with the arms of the 2 valks that have broken shoulders but the rest of the VF-1s are pretty tough in my opinion. I have yet to buy one Macross toy that did not have a problem in the line (out of the box or happened over time), Bandai or Yamato. So really I just see it as a hazard of buying expensive low volume toys. Even expensive Transformers run into these problems. My Masterpiece Starscream and Skywarp have "issues" too. That being said I still love them (with all their problems) and anybody who tried to part me.....well.....There will be Blood!
Anyway sorry for "ranting" and time to get back on topic.
It bums me out that they are most likely never going to make a VF-0D..... I guess my only chance to get a delta wing Valk now, is if someone does a VF-24....... yeah, when pigs fly.
-
Man I would love to see a YF-25 but I think the best that we will get is the model kit. Hell we haven't even got a VF-171 yet........
I would also love to see a VF-24 but that is just because I like Delta wing fighters. A VF-24 and/or VF-0D toy from Yamato or Bandai would make my year.
-
Damn if only the Monster was to scale with the other Destroids. Oh well they still look awesome!
-
Don't worry. Like the Macross Quarter I am sure that those who wait will probably find it on sale for a really good price.
-
Finally got mine yesterday. Love it! Here are a couple of quick pics with a 1/100 VF-1.
-
Does anyone have a pic of the Konig Monster in "Monster/Gerwalk" mode to a VF-1 in Gerwalk?
Nice pics wewe!
Thanks.

1. VF-22
2. VF-11
3. VF-1 Double seater (Elint or Trainer) 1/60 v.2
4. VF-1 Strike 1/60 v.2
5. Tie between VF-1 with Armored parts and the Macross Quarter (it might be floppy in ship mode but Batroid mode is just awesome)
6. The Tomahawk Destroid (because it needs to be on my list)
Of course I have yet to get my König Monster (it's in Vancouver now! only a around 1500 more KM to go!) or the Macross later this year.
-
For me it is any 1/100 parts former. These where my first Macross toys but once I went Yamato and Bandai DX I just couldn't go back. I really hate having to dig around for parts every time I want to transform one. Not to mention that they are floppy and want to fall apart every time I try to pose them.
Now I use my 1/100 to test out painting or weathering techniques.
-
Preordered it off of AmiAmi for $322 Canadian..... oh well I guess I just figured out what I am getting myself for Christmas!
Price isn't to horrible (still hurts though)! But unlike the Macross Quarter I don't think I can wait for this to come on sale. I need something to go with that giant AT-AT I purchased last month. (now that's a freakin awesome toy and only 100 bucks!)
-
I love my VF-11B. I have been thinking about buying the C but I just can't come up with the cash for it lately.
-
-
If the Kai turns out nice I am all for a new YF-19. Don't think it will happen but maybe we will get a VF-19F/S though, who knows.

Decided to take a break from Valks for a little while. I saw MasterPiece Starscream and Skywarp on sale at BBTS last week and finally broke down and bought them.
YF-21 Fast packs (For Sale)

I picked up the YF-19 Fold Booster and it came with the YF-21 fast packs. Don't need them as my YF-21 came with Fast Packs. Does anyone want an extra set? Something like $20US plus shipping if you want them. I will keep the shipping as cheap as possible if you want. Simple envelope with cardboard backing if necessary.
