I have been thinking of writing a Macross fic about her. The Nupetiet-Vergnitzs refit escorting Megaroad 1 is found abandoned with her in suspended animation.

As a child she is adopted by one of the Jenius sisters.

I believe Max's rank at the time of Macross 7 was Colonel. Which kind of explains why in Macross 7 and Macross 7 Trash why he can't just have Barton's or Bacelon's head in a platter as they were of the same rank.

I totally agree! The three- and four-nacelle'd Miranda-style ships would be really nice to see some better views of.

There appear to be four types of capital ships in this scene including the Enteprise.

Well I just wish to see the specs on the new old ships other that the Enterprise or Kelvin.

We haven't had an influx of Starfleet ships like this since Best of Both Worlds and First Contact.

Thougth I do have a theory that the Nova may have been artificial.

With all this hype about Macross Ace and Macross Chronicle, has anyone heard of the Macross camp just flat out redoing a complete anime of the original Macross? or finally providing a sequel and end to Hikaru and Misa Hayase? I remember reading that the the original guy (Showori?) sorry, saying he didn't want to do sequels. I hope as this guy gets older he comes to his senses and a) gives the fans what they want and b) friggin cash in!!!. Anyways, thanks for reading my post. I still want an ending dammit!!!! Well we know little details about the Unification War. From what we can tell the Anti-UN also got their hands on Overtechnology.

We know that the Anti-UN is more sophisticated than the UN Forces in terms of submersible craft.

That doesn't jive with the screen evidence though. What we see on screen is that spock arrives just too late to save romulus and is immediately attacked by Nero and his ship.

The Jellyfish was launched after Romulus and Remus got toasted.

The Vulcans had to process the decalithium into Red Matter too. Spock miscalculated the growth of the Hobus nova.

Decalithium it seems is a prized isotope in the Romulan Empire. Nero's Narada was mining it till they found out the Hobus Star went nova and for some reason expanding.

Decalithium given its relation to Red Matter may be the catalyst for artificial quantum singularities.

Romulans don't use Dilithium cystals and Matter/Anti-matter reactor warp cores. Romulans use artificial quantum singularity for their warp drive. A mini blackhole for ship power.

I could swear that a 171 unit was called Diamond Force, stationed aboard the Frontier.

Diamond Squadron to be exact.

We do know the existence of special forces (shown in Macross 7 with the Diamond and Emerald Forces), but my question is can each fleet decide to have them onboard or not ? Macross Frontier did not acknowledge any kind of special forces. And no, I don't consider SMS personals as special forces since they are private military contractors although they did some special force operations (shows in episode 7).

Well the games put an emphasis on elite squadrons of VF- pilots.

Macross M3 had the Dancing Skulls with special forces cruiser Algenicus. Max and Millia were the pilots you can't get anymore special than that. They were replaced by their adopted daughter Moa who herself is an ace pilot.

Macross VF-X had the small carrier Vahalla III with the operation to rescue a group of idols, Milky Dolls, from a group of Zentradi with upgraded stealth mecha and one original VF that can compete wit the VF-19 and VF-22.

Macross VF-X2 has the VF-X Ravens and the stealth battle carrier Saratoga II. Turns out your boss is actually a fascist and you'll have to stop his machinations.

Kai means Custom. VF-19 Kai, VT-17 Kai, and VF-11MAXL Kai means they are all customised versions of of VF's.

There is a regular military version of VF-11MAXL which is a VF-11 variant delta wing and engines from the VF-16. We haven't seen the VF-16 either so don't ask.

The VF-5000 "Star Mirage" named after the Dassault Mirage 2000 which is a real life multirole fighter used by many countries just like how the VF-5000 is used by colony worlds like Zola.

FYI Zola isn't a colony world. Zola is a member world of the NUNG. Another miclone race like humans.

Now the ancient Zentradi directive not to interfere with miclones make sense as there are several worlds seeded by the Protoculture.

Richard Bilrer calls Humans, Zentradi and Zolans, the Children of the Protoculture.

What is interesting about the Zola Patrol is that they have their own variants of UN Spacy Valkyries.

The VF-5000G, VF-5000G-T and the VF-19P. Not to mention their own carrier.

The ones they deal with are pirates not some rebels with a political axe to grind as we see in Macross Plus OVA, VF-X, VF-X2, M3, Frontier.

Marketing? The VF-3000 and VF-5000 were the first products rolled out by the new Shinsei Industries.
