  1. Seems like the trailer needs to be longer but it doesnt look bad.
  2. Are you missing out? Most definitely! As soon as I saw the 1/48s come out, I was collecting the 1/60. For a price on the 1/48, I was like no way. But I was debating to get it or continue with the 1/60. Took a good 3 months for this debate partially b/c I didnt have time due to my 6 softball teams I was on and a deadline at work for the summer. I decided to get the low vis and I havent been the same since.
  3. Yeap. I got one from you.
  4. Looking good there.
  5. I think I will skip the clear sets. Doesnt excite me.
  6. Aint that the truth.

Merry Xmas to all. I will be up and early prolly before santa is around. I got a flight to catch at 6AM but shuttle express will be here around 4AM. With all this Orange alert here, I wonder if Santa is gonna get shot down by a F-15 or F-16. BTW, Monkey-N, I still have got the catapult thingyies for my 1/48 yammie.
  8. Ok, I am borrowing this picture from another thread where they are talking about the VEFR. I noticed something though. All the Valks have 3 hardpoints per wing (6 total for the valk). Now the toys Yamato have been giving us on the 1/60 and 1/48 scales give us 4 total hardpoints. I mean I find this weird. Sure more hard points give the valks more firepower but what gives here? Is this a TV error? Or Yamato is in error? I dont remember about the DRYL on the how many hardpoints the valk had.
  9. (Stunned.) You're absolutely right. I'd never thought of it that way for some reason, but if the VF-1D wasn't intended for combat, why would Misa have ordered Hikaru to take off? Or better yet, why does it come with a armed gunpod?
  10. 1/x where x = comparable scale feet, i.e. in 1/48 scale 1 actual foot (12") is equal to 48 scale feet. The bigger the number to the right, the smaller the "occupants" of the model in question would be...or is that what you were asking? As far as the scales of VF-1 available, I'd say most people think the 1/48 is the ultimate (and I tend to agree). Damn right! 1/48 rule.
  11. I agree. That is quite pricey. That is why I wont get them.
  12. All of you are wussies. Try living near a volcano. You don't know when it will explode. I live in the Seattle area... actual closer to Mt Rainer. Yes, I have been thru an earthquake. We had one 2 years ago. I was working near the Space Needle. You can hear that thing rattle.
  13. It is bigger than the 1/48?? So you are saying the 1/60 is even bigger than the actual 1/48...
  14. I wont buy em. No way. After seeing the Yamato's 1/48 vs the MPC, I am staying away from HG and Toynami.
  15. I thought Hound should have been a military Humvee.
  16. That is way tooo funny. I would like to have the trailer, though.
  17. Yike! $50 for the armor? And that is for the 1/60 version. Hate to see how much it is for the 1/48 version.
  18. Definitely a nice job there.
  19. You are more right than you think. I'm more right in thinking that I'm right than you think I think I'm right That was deep Wayyy too deep if you ask me.
  20. No not married. Why do you think I have this money to buy these valks.
  21. You are more right than you think.
  22. Better make sure you have some kind of night vision or have your porch lights turned on.
  23. Oh joy.
  24. Dude, you need to set some anti personnel mines. You know trhe ones where you have to dig a hole and place in there. Anyways, seriously you need to set a motion detector wired to the alarms. Oh wait... I got a nice idea. 1. You put something sticky on the door knob or on the ground to keep them there. Kinda like fly paper. I dunno if there is a product out there. 2. Put some wet paint on the ground (or some kind of other substance) in which you can track the "footprints once he/she will step on it. You have to put it where they cannot see it. 3. Put some permanant dye on the door knob. you know those dye bombs when the banks give to the robber to mark the money. 4. Put a trip wire on the ground so when they trip on it they are gonna fall and you will hear them fall. Personally, I think it is an inside job. I mean when you are not even remotely close to the door knob, you get these gifts. Your wife should lose her "Top Secret" clearance immediately.
  25. I aint married so that is not a problem. I dont have a girlfriend so I couldnt even help ya. Then again, I am lonely. Pitiful aint i?
