    Bandai DX VF-31

Hi all! Hope everyone is doing okay staying home and keeping safe from the COVID-19 contagion. A global recession is in place as global supply chains have been disrupted, and the toy industry is no exception. Given these circumstances, and an uncertain future, anyone think Bandai is still considering completing the Delta lineup? I'm waiting specifically for the super packs for Arad and Chuck's valks. You think these are still in pipeline? Or are we doomed to have a naked Chuck forever? Your thoughts?
  3. There are a lot of comparison videos on Youtube showing the differences between the first release Hot Toys Mk 7 and the newer diecast version. I don't have the first release since I stopped collecting Hot Toys due to financial and space constraints (I only have the Hot Toys Mk 2 and Battle Damaged Mk 3. I am trying to complete the S.H. Figuarts Iron Man line though). Based on the reviews, the difference between the First release and the diecast one are more than just cosmetic improvements. The diecast one can actually partsform into the Mk 7 pod mode, which is a gimmick that is a first among Hot Toys I believe. Also, the poseability has improved tremendously. The diecast can do the famous three point stance/landing no problem. The following is a good review showing the comparison, transformation, and the three point landing, though its in Chinese:
  4. Just got my Hot Toys Diecast Iron Man Mk 7! I had been waiting for this since I pre-ordered it from Sideshow Collectibles in July 2018. This is my first Diecast Hot Toys. I've heard so many good things about the diecast series, but had held off buying the other diecast Iron Man releases until this bad boy came out. The Mk 7 is my favorite Iron Man suit, and this thing is the best representation of the Mk 7 hands down across all brands and releases. This is definitely worthy to be the centerpiece of my Iron Man collection.
  5. Hey, all four are back at NY! Except there's no pay later option anymore: https://www.nippon-yasan.com/figures/29843-shfiguarts-rescue-armor-avengers-endgame.html https://www.nippon-yasan.com/figures/29845-shfiguarts-captain-america-final-battle-edition-avengers-endgame.html https://www.nippon-yasan.com/figures/29846-shfiguarts-iron-man-mark-85-final-battle-edition-avengers-endgame.html https://www.nippon-yasan.com/figures/29847-shfiguarts-iron-spider-final-battle-edition-avengers-endgame.html
  6. Whew! Was able to get Rescue, Iron Man and Iron Spider at NY! Watching the NY spinning wheel of death has got to be one of the most stressful experiences a collector can go through. In the rush of making the orders, I accidentally made duplicate orders for Iron Man and Iron Spider. I've submitted tickets to cancel the duplicates already. Don't know if that would translate to the items being available again after the cancellation.
  7. Iron Man is up at NY: https://www.nippon-yasan.com/figures/29846-shfiguarts-iron-man-mark-85-final-battle-edition-avengers-endgame.html
  8. Captain Marvel is already up for pre-order at NY: https://www.nippon-yasan.com/figures/29828-shfiguarts-captain-marvel-avengers-endgame-limited-edition.html So is Emperor Palpatine, though I'm not collecting Star Wars figures. Rescue is a definite must buy, as well as the ver. 2 Iron Spider. That Nano Gauntlet looks sweet! I wish the Figuarts Professor Hulk could wear it... I'm torn with the Final Battle Mk 85. That Tony head is definitely tempting. Why am I not surprised that Bandai did not include the Iron gauntlet with the figure? Again, Takara Tony's offering seems much better: https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=414090655923809&id=100019686341010
  9. Thanks for the pics carlsylar! Another question: will the aile strike pack and the gunbarrel striker fit on the MB Blue Frame Astray? Or will you need an adapter from the Alternative Red Frame Kai?
  10. Hey guys! I've been bitten by the Metal Build bug and have pre-ordered the Alternative Red Frame Kai. I also picked up the MB Blue Frame Astray and the Gunbarrel Striker from Mandarake. I'm considering getting an MB Strke as well. Is there a difference between the MB Aile Strike and the MB Strike Infinity? Will the Alternative packs (like the CALETVWLCH, Flight Unit Option Set, and upcoming Striker and Sword Packs) fit on either? Thanks!
  11. I'm in for Rescue. Possibly Iron Spider because of the Iron Gauntlet. Don't know about Cap and the Mk 85 though. Takara Tony's Mk 85 Nano Weapons set that I have on order seems a lot more generous than Bandai's offering.
  12. That looks like a re-color of the one they released earlier: https://www.nippon-yasan.com/figures/22092-gundam-fix-figuration-metal-composite-wing-gundam-zero-ew-ver-limited-edition.html What I'm more interested in is that Ka Signature MSZ-010 Double Zeta...

Armored Parts arrived from NY and on the way to our local Post Office from Central Customs! Woot! Where's Chuck's supers Bandai?

    Bandai DX VF-31

Ah, okay. Thanks for the explanation Sanity! I take it that there is no locking mechanism to keep the covers open other than friction? I would check this out myself but my Armored Packs are still in transit. Hehe!

So many great pics of the armored pack! I find it amusing though that many keep the cannon covers closed. Is that deliberate?
