Just wanted to say Thanks to Nanashi for sharing the pictures....Im a huge Mac II Mecha fan and I dont think the mecha get enough attention...your pictures have given me a couple of ideas for futures models...thank you.

But there isn't much there. I'd like to see Studio Half Eye or D'Stance

take a shot at this one. However both I.H.P and Studio Half Eye lately

seem to be pulled in directions away from Macross model making.

LTSO - He let me know he lost access to his translating service....Im not sure when it falls in comparison to your note...but I think thats when the huge delays started happening...I also am assuming he got involved in something else...I say this only because he was (for about 5 months ) very good at responding to most notes within 2-3 weeks....and often in under 2.....I can't understand what changed, but at this point we just need to see if we can get the last of the models in....if he does email me I can ask if he has any CatsEyes left....last I knew he had 4.

Thanks to the Mods. To everyone who is tired of this thread continuing, my apologies. Update...I sent Tanmen a note three weeks ago. It was short, simple, and to the point. (without me being rude) I have not heard back. I assume this is a direct effect of his lack of a translating service. Since he has not responded to nearly all of my email recently I will be asking Rob (Monkey Nugget) if he would again consider helping us and contacting Tanmen by phone. I will also be asking if he feels it is appropriate...considering it has been nearly 3 months with no word, I think a simple status and timeframe request is fair, but if Rob feels strongly calling would be offensive I will let everyone know so we can vote or whatever on whether to risk that. Anyways....sorry I dont have any better news to report.

Models : 5 Stars...amazing work

Customer Service 1 open star - this long of a wait is on the ridiculous end of the scale.

MSLZ22 did one that is nice...someone else did one too...but I can't remember who. I have the Gsys...its nice...nearly identical...but a little different....I have pictures somewhere if anyone wants to see the difference.

(perhaps I am being to harsh...based on the Masterpiece the dream is better then a cruddy reality...that just gives me more to complain about. (see my feelings on the Fire and Blazer Valk) Still...if they do a better job on the Legioss (Alpha) maybe I should change my mind...but...since Toynami targets the US, and Macross II is nearly unknown here, it would seem they either need to boost sales overseas, or make MacII more well known to make the license worthwhile...

Don't shoot me for this, but legal issues aside, perhaps Toynami should see if they can get a Macross II toy license from Big West.

Heck that might be the only way we will ever see Macross II toys. Toynami do seem to have been getting better with their sculpts recently (FPs & Alpha MPC).

Neat idea. As for progress on the transformation, honestly, I am waiting to get the upgrade parts from Rob and start working out how the whole thing goes together. I know 13 members have theirs on the way...hopefully we can get as many people as possible to jump on board with this one and get it going. I also know Valkyrie is working on gorgeous clear canopies for the VF2SS and Malich came up with the other set of BClub upgrade parts which he is working on finding ways to share...so all in all...its coming along well. If you interested in the transformation parts let Rob (Monkey Nugget ) know asap..I know he is almost out...

Congratulations! Honestly, I think the 1/48 is pretty solid....just go slowly on the transformation, and don't stress the backpack and youll be fine.

I would agree with Rob. Like the big bulky KA firepower aspect.

Cant wait to see more...I would agree that the shoulder pack looks identical to the GBP.

Rick the Hunter actually made one for Greenalpha about a year ago and I have to say that the SD VT is really sweet. Greenalpha also commissioned RTH to do an Elint version, but that was around the time he flakked out and noone has heard from him. He still has one of Greenalphas SD veritechs.

Great work Solscud007. Anyone everthought of doing an elintseeker, or making the armor available for recast. I am sure (myself included) that they would be great sellers for us Macross junkies.

Ricks used Tanmen stock boosters though I believe, which are a bit too small....

There is a picture (somewhere on Original Macross World) with a picture comparing the Club M 1/48 YF19 with the Yamato 1/72....that would also be a good reference point...but I can't find it...anyone?
