As far as I know neither kit is completed yet. We are hoping Tanmen finished the kits and sends us them in Oct.

IIRC, the Mac 0 toys from Yamato are planned for 1/72 scale and if they do well enough, some of them may get the 1/48 treatment.

My favorite is the Hikaru VF-1J super. I really dig the color scheme of it.Can't wait for the 1/48 version.

I have a nice big double door closet...and it's full to the brimn...it used to have stuff of mine, and my familys...but I have slowly taken it over...I now have 1 shelf left....and I think my wife will kill me if I try to take over another closet....

The 1/48 is stunning...best of the best..cream of the crop...if you can buy only 1...then this is the one to buy...if you can buy 1 and 1/2...get the FP's...and then realize 1 is never enough...and kiss your wallet goodbye!

These guys are in Canada. I bought one thing from them and it came quickly. They dont have a huge Macross Hase section...but some...and I wonder if they dont have more that they just dont list on the website..they might be worth emailing.

Not as far as I know. I've never seen the instruction sheet from that kit.

Actually, Im talking about the 2nd kit...it comes with 2 guns, 1 set of leg armor, and one backpack piece (I think) (and two hands) Anyone tackle this, or no of any pictures where it's build up is displayed?

I love my recast of the VF-2SS in 1/72 scale and would highly recommend it. Although, the canopy that comes with it is really thick, and is foggy - not totally transparent and the fast-packs are meant to be built with it on or off, it would take a bit of modification to get them to be removeable. Overall, the lines are excellent, and follow the line-art quite accurately - although serious structural pinning is required as some of the attachment points are quite small and delicate.

Its interesting...the original canopy is thermaform or vacumformed....and quite clear...(or at least mine is) but my e2046 recast has the foggy cast canopy...odd...I wonder why they molded it that way...

Also..the Yellow Sub kit has a TON of parts...would be a big recast project....very expensive...your better off diligently watching Ebay....

I know a few people have thought about the 1/72 VF2SS....which is a nice kit.

The Wave kits...well normally Ive seen them in the $29-$55 range...though I imagine there are rarer exceptions I dont know about.
