  1. WHOIAAAAAA

    Naked Snake or Old Snake???

    Big Boss.

However Konami stated this is specifically a demo of the Fox Engine. And Hideo apparently said Ground Zeroes, this shown clip, is a prologue to MGS-5.

So that sounds like MGS2, where the Tanker section with Solid Snake was a prologue occuring years before the game's actual core plot.

  2. Like tens of perfectly lined cops charging machine gun equipped professional terrorists in a cramped street is certainly a joke.

And a lot of them did die from the gunfire, just as it's occured many times in our history in pretty much similar set ups. Like recently here in South Africa, a week ago. Narrow streets, people charging at guns, and it's even happened where the armed ones, end up loosing.

I don't know if that scene in TDKR is as bad as an Alien race invading Earth, and in all their thousands they don't think about protecting the only thing keeping the portal open. Oh yes, how further convenient, the mother ship blows up, and they die... Like where's that from???

Then again you live in a country where people release bulls in narrow streets to run away from them, so it's baffling what you consider funny is diffirent to what I consider funny. ;)

  3. It's been a while there hasn't been a good arguement about Macross vs bootleg cr... oops, meant Robotech, sorry. :D:p

But seriously, Yamato either should finish off milking the VF-1, Stealth, camo, artic scheme, and etc...

And then move into new sculpts, like completing the Zero line.

Or give us Zentradis, not expensive kits though...

However I do feel a tremor in the force... 1/48v2...

  4. You know felt the same way about the dark knight rises. But I didn't watch it ripped.. and rifftrax is very overrated.

Watched Avengers in Cinemas first time. Not gonna spend money on a DVD or Blu Ray on a film I was undecided.

You thought Batman was a ballistic comedy 12 year olds... Okay...

  5. I still wonder which would sell better, the SDFM or DYRL version. While DYRL is bigger in Japan (and with most Macross fans I guess) the SDFM version is also the, like it or not, Robotech version. Older fans would jump at one, if they were aware it existed. That's a world wide interest here (provided we can all remember this thing from 1983) simply because it was more widely viewed across the planet by Macross and Robotech fans.

No it's not the Robotech version, cause it's like saying here's a Lamborgini, but by putting a Kia badge, it's now a Kia, well maybe if you like to believe good things are cheap and rip-offs?

Also you have to be a bit asleep expecting to post minimal Robotech support, on a Macross forum of Macross fans, and thinking it's okay and you won't get a backslash from it.

You know? That's quite offensive to some of us. Maybe you should not overgeneralize as much.

  6. For the last few years I've been using Amiami as they are the cheapest with their SAL insured.

Only issue I came across, was when ordering 3 Bishoujo Ghostbuster figures, but one was missing in the shipped box.

Amiami set us a picture showing they packed 3. Yes, Amiami takes pictures of every order before shipping, and they basically said we had to claim for theft from the postal network spanning from Japan, to China, to South Africa. A 6 month mission.

Hobby Search has the best customer service in my expereince, however they're a bit too pricey.

Was a devotee loyal of HLJ, until they sent me a Valk in a stupid extra large box, over charging me shipping for it, and became a recurring problem with the next orders.

  7. Watched a ripped to give it a second opinion... but nope. It remains a super ballistic comedy for 12 year olds high on sugar. And the whole Coulson thing... so Twilight.

The Rifftrax of this movie will worth it though. :)

  8. Thanks for that, it was a really great post. I don't know why the knives are so out for this film. I certainly didn't see the dramatic drop in quality that some people are claiming is there. It is different to the other two Bats films but they are all different in tone from each other and there is nothing wrong with that.

    Pleasure.

Well the way I see it is that Begins was to establish the Gotham, and does feel that the city is a living character itself. The Dark Knight was the unbeatable villain, and considering the damange the Joker left behind, the clown did win at the end. And the third was Batman finally realizing his objective from the first film, and becoming that film. So they pretty much had to have a diffirent feel, even in lighting, to make each film appear unique.

In retrospect on the series, I'm as disappointed in this set as much as the previous in that they kept KILLING the villains.

Thought the Joker lived? And scarecrow as well? I actually prefered giving death to most of the other villains. Kept it realistic considering they didn't happen is some typical final show down, with the exception of Ras.

  9. There's aren't a lot of pics of HT's MK. VIII's knees. They look rather squarish, but without pics of the older versions on hand, I'm not sure if there's that big of a difference. Got any pics you'd care to share? I'd like to take a look before pre-ordering it.

As for Catwoman, I'm of the same opinion. I also prefer Arkham Asylum's Catwoman, but sadly she won't fit in with the rest of the Nolan cast.

Well the Arkham Catwoman did have a very textured and functional outfit worthy of Nolan's world. And a nice bare cleavage. :D

These are the best pics I've come across of that Ironman.

As you can see here, that knee joint is way too thin for Robert's actual knee to be in it, and considering the size and price of this thing, I'm like no ways for such a visible flaw especially after all the previous attempts to get it right.

It's too Play Arts for me.

  10. I did a tour in the Horn. Not fun. It's amazing how diverse Africa is, gunfights in one place, 5 star resorts in another, and how little the distances between the two is frightening.

On another note, the shipping on your valks must absolutely suck.

Well in South Africa where I'm at the moment is more Americanized/Europeanized. When I aided overseeing a couple of American comic book artist years, they were amazed how we're here is like a California combined into typical American suburbs, with a Monte Carlo capital, even the poorer nieghbourhoods are all very... rapping ganster like.

But yeah, I've also seen most of Africa, and it's messed up how there's a ferocious no rules battle and famine, while over the hill the millionaire's soak it up beneath the sun with cocktails.

Though it must quite worring for you in the horn, as I've come across hostile opposition against American troops.

As for Valks it's not too bad with insured Sal shipping with a two week wait. My latest one cost $20us shipping from amiami.com. If I went EMS, it would have been $35us.

Although very annoyingly 4 years ago I use to pay $50us shipping for 2 day EMS for two Valks with Superpacks. Now that is like $90 and more.

  11. @ Ghost Train. Cannot stop laughing! Brilliant!

It just didn't work for me. I really didn't like the movie mainly the writing. And the continuity errors

Too confusing for the audience. now if marvel had the rights then they could probably work something out.

I don't know about that. Marvel's comic book world as gone to hell with DC's. Forever time travelling, forever alternative universes, forever rebooting, forever bringing back the dead... The latest in the NEW 52 left me very... meh, I mean Robin is gone, again, and becomes... Redbird because a RedRobin still exists... :(

  12. Why a DX version? I haven't watched the movie yet, but Bane doesn't look like he's got a lot of accessories. AFAIK, the only piece of accessory missing from the one they're making is a black sleeveless vest.

I've decided to go all out on the Batman figs this time, and Catwoman's definitely on my to-buy list.

In regards to Bane he has diffirent outfits and various accessories (very brief moments) not included in this release, however had pivotel scenes in the film.

And yes, his head needs Pers, and he talks with his eyes.

I'm still on the fence with this Catwoman, eventhough I believe no one will ever come close to Anne's performance, I'm still not fully convinced of Hot Toys first go at it. Body is a bit too skinny. Head too big. And the goggles also slightly too big.

But as with Bane, I'll wait for final images of both to decide.

Nearly I pre-ordered the Mark VII, but the knee joints when bent put me off. They look too toyish, and too skinny which ruins the realism of such a figure.

Also I'm more sold on Sideshows Comic book adaption of Catwoman... And Both Sideshow and Hot Toys will be making figures from Arkham Ayslum and Arkham City, and that Catwoman's appearance is a winner.

  13. Official what???? Wasn't on the schedule and not shown.

Did anyone get this program tonight?

Disney is not doing itself any favors jerking the program around.

I really don't know what to say...

I have a couple of the people working on it linked to my social networks, and they along with http://tron.wikia.com/wiki/TRON:_Uprising said that date. But it's no longer there. :o

I'll ask again now now, hopefully get a reply. I'm checking on the various Tron dedicated blogs and forums, and they too have no word as they also expected it back this week.

This is BS on Disney part.
