YF-19 looks nice. Doesn't seem to be painted, looks like the parts are molded in cream and black, which is good. that means less painting for those that are artistically-challenged  .

A few minor gripes though. At first glance it looks like it there is no way to attach the gunpod in fighter mode. Also, the feet do not close properly in fighter mode. Still, can't expect too much in only 1/100 scale. I do like how they have handled the front landing gear and the toy seems pretty poseable with no parts removale or swapping required. Might have to see if I can get one of these from Wonder Fest.

I've heard that this YF-19 will be sold as a "completed resin model". I assume this means it will be finished like the kits SHE currently sells. Even better for those artistically challenged.

I was wondering about that as the name seemed to imply it would be sold as a completed item. Gonna have to try to score two I think. Let's hope the producion run is a decent size and the cost is not too high.

With the recent changes to the Big West licencencing procedure, the production run CAN be higher than previous macross Wonderfest kits. But not untill Summer `05. The initial release this coming wonderfest will probably be around 20. After that they can apply to have a larger production run.

Just some minor clarifications for you guys. That site is Mr Sakuragawa`s personal website. He works together with Mr Sakamoto as Liquid Stone, which was originaly a small offshoot of IHP but became much more sucessfull. Both of them do sculpts for Yamato, as well as various other companies. Mr Sakuragawa specializes in mecha, Mr Sakamoto does various.

The YF-19 is 1/100 scale and is a completed resin toy simmilar to the ones Studio Half Eye produces. Scheduled for release this upcoming Wonderfest.

Cool ep. Very nice how it meshed with the first series. I originaly expected it to be a rehash of seed but its actualy an extension. We also find out what fake Lacus actualy is.

Here is a pic of the full set of DGP after. The girl in the biker outfit is sold out as far as singles over here. All of the other figs can be found. The set goes for 2,500 to 3,200yen here in Japan and is getting hard to find.

The problem is that Basara has a post and hole type mount, not a socket like Misa. So it would take some conversion work to do that.

Ok, found a Shonen Ace for Rowen. Everyone has at least 1 now. I am going to close this offer since it is getting too expensive to get any more. Either by searching far away areas, or buying from the secondary market(seen the issue going for 2000yen, way too much IMHO)

Below is a pic of a 10th anniversary Ace Gamers promotional card. If you bought a dec issue of Shonen Ace from Gamers(yes, they are all sold out now), you get a card at random. There are at least 6 different cards, and only one has Asuka on it. I have one extra, I will figure out some contest or drawing to see who gets it.

Wow, got a bunch of replys. In order to meet everyones demand I will have to find more Shonen Ace. So please be patient while I search this weekend.

To clarify again, the $24 does NOT include shipping. I will not have any figures untill april at the earliest, and thus wont have an acurate shipping estimate untill then. There is also the issue of what the yen exchange rate will be like 5 months from now.

If possible I will send all the figures to one person, to reduce shipping costs a bit. LMK if anyone is willing to do so.

That price DOES include the Shonen Ace, 2 alternate manga covers, and the Asuka CCG card. If you do not want the manga, that will likely reduce the shipping cost by a great deal, since it is very heavy and bulky.

I have enough cupons for 1 each. Several have requested more than one so I will be out and about searching this weekend. All the big chain bookstores are sold out so I will have to scour the suburbs and countryside to find the small mom and pop stores that might still have it.

I personaly dont want to see a high diecast content in the Koenig monster. For reinforcement use steel parts, diecast is too brittle when used in small pieces.

If the WHOLE toy is made in diecast, then it works well. See Bandai and their awesome SOC line.

Also essential is enamel paint that bonds well to properly primed metal. Previous Yamato diecast parts have a distressing tendency to chip their paint.

What about using the Volks Neo EB-body? They have even better articulation, like the double jointed shoulders.

I managed to find 3 more issues of Shonen Ace with the Asuka action figure cupon. If you want this send me an email. Price is going to be $24 plus shipping.

The shipping portion is going to be a big pain since the figs wont arrive till April next year(assuming there are no production delays) So I have no idea how much the figs will cost to ship, in addition to what the Yen exchange rate will be.

So in order to do this I will have to do payment in 2 parts. Once I get the $24 I send in the cupon and reserve a figure for you. Once they arrive I charge the exact cost to ship.

I will also do trades for the Rei action figure with manga.
