  1. Since all my triangles for both sides exploded, I removed that part and frankly no difference.
  2. I reckon even if they do, they would not give a rat's ass. I have been buying Bandai toys for a good 10 years and they have nearly never in any way fixed or recall their products knowing the defects that inherently plague their toys. at least Takara Tomy issue recalls and send out replacements once in a while. The only one extremely rare occassion I remember Bandai providing a fixed part was with v.1 VF-25S super parts, i.e. the hip intake covers. but like a lemming that I am, I still purchase their stuffs because they cater for a wide range of audiences.
  3. Can't verify the global numbers, but a friend of mine (whom is also my proxy) in Japan said in many message boards, they are experiencing the same thing of explodey triangle pieces.
  4. my 4th CF171 triangle piece exploded yesterday. So, all 3 out of 4 have this problem. I've decided to take out the piece completely by removing from all 4 valks. It serves no purpose anyway besides being a hindrance during transformation and only add a very slight aesthetic rounding up in fighter mode. Nightmare resolved. And I am thinking of getting another to round up a squadron of five....... or should I just get more VF-25A? decisions...decision....
  5. Just got my fourth CF 171. The shop hoarding it are now selling it at discounted price. No breakages so far...*knocks on wood*
  6. I bet the yf-29 would look bitching in Emerald force colors.
  7. re-issue the VF25S renewal first, then do this.
  8. Battriod head probably looks like this..
  9. OMG, I....I....I...MUST HAVE THIS!!
  10. They can do that? 'Tis something new to me. Did your friend tried to hoard? That is one beautiful bird. Hells yeah. I am damn happy with my 25S, just hope I can get another one down the line. Because Ozma is a manly pilot, he can see even the panels block the battroid's sensors.
  11. Nope, it will not fit. The indentation and placement of the grooves are all different and Also the overall design.
  12. What the fudge?? wow. That looks really distressing. side note (referring to the pic) : I discovered the rotation of the legs will have to be done in conjunction of a click which releases the gears for it to be transformed in between modes. I had a CF171 with very loose swivel on the left leg and there was no friction or clicking mechanism of any sort. After taking it apart, I found out that you will have to pull doen the knees to engage the gears in the swivel for it to be released / extended in Battriod mode. hence my observation is - If the first few attempts you can get the legs to swivel and it is not budging, try extending the legs (where the thigh and knee meets) a few notches up or down and turn the leg swivel. chances are the gears needs to align in order to extend or retract.
  13. THIS. I will be a CF RVF-25 in a heart beat.
  14. damn, I saw jenius post and I thought he is here to tell us his site is updated with the RVF-25 review...
  15. My count now is 1 from NY and 2 already pre-ordered from my local toy shop. It was a good day.
  16. Nice! The RVF-25 is a beautiful bird...
  17. damn...but thanks for the heads up. I am thinking of getting just one more.
  18. Yes yes....Macross 7 is optional. I watch it only for the mecha action.
  19. hey, don't sweat it, bro. people makes mistakes, all the part in learning. you can catch some snippets in youtube for all things Macross. That should be a good start. Otherwise wikipedia should come in handy to a certain extent.
  20. The proto YF-19 looks delicious. Yummmmm.....
